Complaint
They opened an account in my name, not authorized by me. After many requests from to close the account and remove from my credit, they haven't.
In October 2015, Mobiloans showed on my credit report. I didn't request any service from them. After too many phone call, e-mail, and chat - I was assured the account was closed. It is not closed. Still shows open on my credit report. I can't get these fools to do what I requested.

Desired Settlement
I want Mobiloans to close the unauthorized account and remove from credit report plus never open anything in my name. Their service (and I use the term loosely) is not wanted and not authorized.

They did not "reach out to me" as they explained. I have received no phone call, no e-mail, no letter. Don't know what they're talking about. They did NOT contact me. The account was NOT closed and still remains open on my credit reports. This is not excellent customer service. They need to try again.

Final Consumer Response
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I finally received the letter DATED July 7, SENT July 8. They should have said that but didn't. It sounded as if they tried to call me or e-mail me. They need to be more precise and clear on their actions. But then again, they opened an unauthorized and unwanted account in my name. What can I say? Not very dependable or reliable. They need to seriously review their customer service standards AND procedures. They are not good, no matter what they claim. I've been in the customer service field for well over 25 years; I know what great customer service is. Theirs isn't close. Thank you, Better Business Bureau, for your assistance. So glad you're here for us consumers.

Complaint
It seems that the company is deliberately withholding rewards points to keep taking additional money.
On 3/14 I contact Mobiloans in regards to my platinum status and the discount of 50% on my fees on the loan. I was told that I would not received the 50% discount until next billing cycle as the fees to do not immediately update. So on 3/30 I look at my account to make a payment and realize that again, I did not receive the 50% discount on the record. I called and was told that the account was not updated and would not update until potentially the next billing statement even though I now have 25,500 points clearly over the 25,000 needed for the discount. I was told by Renee, a manager, that the account would update between 15-29 days after the payment/points were received. So if on the 14th the points were already in the system and then they added 500 more after the 18th's payment, why is the system not reflecting a discount on the record? Basically because of an arbitrary date they calculate to keep additional money from the account holder. I pulled up my past records and I found that I immediately received discounts when they were due in the past without question. I was also informed that the discount may not reflect on my 4/14 because it could take up to 30 days. So in essence they will get 3 billing cycles of payment from me. Very predatory... I have used this company several times and never experienced this type of billing issue. I have always made timely payments but now that I am at a certain level and they are losing money on me it seems that their practices are to my disadvantage.

Desired Settlement
I would like my billing to be adjusted as of 3/18 to reflect on my 4/1 billing a discount of 50% as promised on 3/14. Per 3/14 I had 25,000 points to qualify for the 50% discount and I currently have 25.500 which is clearly over the discount amount but I am still paying a 30% discount rate.

Consumer Response
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Mobiloans has determined that they would refund my fees as a one time courtesy which is a great gesture however the underlying problem of predatory lending still plagues me and other borrowers as they can determine when they will change our discounts and rewards status. I read the documents they provided and I am still very concerned that someone who needs help and support could/may be taken advantage of from this or any other company. I am grateful they offered to return my fees yet I am afraid this will continue to happen if our lending relationship continues.

Complaint
Money Never Received as per Contract Agreement on 9/11/15
On 9/11/15, I applied for a loan and was approved for a line of credit up to $1000. I accepted a loan in the amount of $500 and proceeded to select the automatic deposit option. I understood that the "next business day" would mean I would receive my funds by Tuesday, 9/15/15, because 9/11/15 fell on a Friday. After accepting this loan, deposit and payment terms, I received an email within the hour stating that "Good news - your Mobiloans Cash in the amount of $500.00 is on its way!*" (the asterisk represented pending verification of my application information). Great, I then received my statement, thereafter, in another email, which showed the $500 plus $75 processing fee owed, and a payment due date of 9/25/15 in the amount of $100. This led me to believe all was good to go. I checked my account on Tuesday, 9/15/15 and no funds. I reached out to Mobiloans.com via telephone (automated messages only, no live person) and email through their website. I also left a complaint on Trustpilot.com (under their influence to leave a comment about their services). Still nothing. I then proceeded to call their customer service line at different times of the day to see if I could get a live person. Nothing. Prior to filing this complaint, I made one last effort to contact them via email, today 9/16/15, to request cancellation of any and all contractual agreement between myself and Mobiloans.com because I still have not received funds. My concern is Mobiloans.com seems to be a fully automated system, and when I sign into my account, it still states that I owe them $575. They have my banking information, my social security information, everything personal from work to home. How do I protect myself from them withdrawing money that I don't owe? I have had my bank account for 10 years and as a last effort, I will have to close that account and reopen a new one. But this will not stop them from attacking my credit and starting collections. Please help me. Thank you.

Desired Settlement
To cancel the $500 line of credit and refund any and all fees associated with this line of credit from my statement. To not withdraw money that I do not owe from my bank account. To cancel any all agreement between myself, ******** ********* and Mobiloans.com or any and all affiliates of this company.

Final Consumer Response
***Document Attached***

Mobiloans.com, today, contacted me and said there was an error in my banking account number given. They cancelled the lone and reversed the processing fees. Please see attached snapshot of my account page.

The complaint has been resolved and can be closed in your system. Thank you,

Complaint
request a change in due date for debt owed
on 8/24/15 I called customer service to request a change in my payment due date due to a change in how I get paid. When I initially applied for this loan I was on unemployment. I no longer collect unemployment and I am not gainfully employed at this time. However, I am able to pay for this debt, but I am not able to pay on the specified date of every other Wednesday as initially agreed. I was informed I would need to provide two pay check stubs in order to change the due date, however I cannot provide such documents since I am not currently employed at this time. How I intend to pay for this loan is from my husbands employment, who is paid every other Friday. I was informed they would not accept a copy of his pay check to change the due date.I was also informed that I could extend my payment, but I could only do so every other payment which does not help my situation. This is a debt I owe and have every intention of paying it in full, but, I am not able to do so on the due date as described. I am simply requesting my payment date be changed from every other Wednesday to every other Friday. I would like assistance in this matter because I cannot provide them the documents they need and they are not willing to work with me regarding this matter.

Desired Settlement
I am requesting that my payment due date be permanently changed from every other Wednesday to every other Friday until debt is paid in full.

As stated from Mobiloans, I received an email with instructions on how to change my due date online. had this option been made available to me from the beginning I would not have had to file a complaint. I do hope in the near future they are more willing to assist their customers in this type of situations. As of today, 9/1/15, my account does show my next due date to be correct. I will keep you informed should the situation changes. Thank you for your time and efforts. it is greatly appreciated.

I do not except it because they cannot give me documents or proof where I took out a loan from them. When I called the business they would not give me information because they said my name or identification was not on the loan. If it was my loan why do they refuse to give me information on it. There is no documentation showing I signed for a loan. It is a fraudulent company. I would like for them to be investigated. Thanks
