Business Response We have reviewed the incident report filed on September 7, 2014 regarding Ms. ********'s complaint. The report states that she used the women's restroom on the second level of the casino. When she returned to her slot machine she realized she left her iphone in the restroom and returned to get it. It was not there when she went back. She reported this to the security supervisor who followed procedures and did an internal investigation and unfortunately did not locate the phone. Ms. **** will requested Bossier Police Department be notified. They were contacted and the investigation turned over to them. Ms. ******** stated it was an iphone 4 valued at $100. DiamondJacks provided a complete investigation and followed the guest's request that Bossier Police Department be contacted. Once they are called the investigation is turned over to them. We do have signage prominently placed throughout property advising the casino is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We are sorry she lost her phone.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Their response is not accurate as I OFFERED the thief 100.00 for the phone and then I offered her 200.00 for the phone but she had already Handed it off to her boyfriend who was in the Casino! I knew it was her because she threw the iPhone case in the tampon bin which PROVED she took it out of the case as I set it there so I could use the bathroom! The phone was worth 450.00! The girl uploaded 400 pictures to my ICloud account with Her in it holding my phone and I can show them to you, and the boyfriend she handed it off to in the casino! The pictures were nasty and inappropriate but they showed up on my new I phone while All of my Pictures DISAPPEARED! All of my Contacts are gone and I have the bill for the New phone that cost 549.00! I tried to speak to ***, **** ***** (all security guards) and NONE of them treated me with respect! not did the 3 pit bosses and The Manager wouldn't even call me back! They refused to even feed me! I checked out the next day and will never stay there again as the Protect Thieves that work there. That's backwards as they should PROTECT their paying Guests! I also take issue with the fact they say there not responsible for lost items It was 2 minutes I got back to that bathroom and that EMPLOYEE STOLE my phone! Nothing was lost, they allowed her to keep working while they knew she gave that phone off to a boyfriend and its a running scam with Diamond Jacks Casino! They know about it, but they hire thieves anyway. I would be willing to settle with Diamond Jacks but clearly they seem to believe they aren't responsible for thieving employees! ******** was the only girl who tried very hard to help me find my phone and all the pictures and contacts and they also breached my credit card and charged things and I had to OPEN a NEW ACCOUNT with my bank! I can prove who she is from her pictures in My new phone and Icloud and her fingerprints are on the case I have in a bag as it was THROWN in the TAMPON bin, which is another $20 loss! Please urge a settlement as I lost VERY IMPORTANT information and TIME with Bossier police and my BANK and ATT knows who she is! We were having a wonderful time until Diamond Jacks allowed this girl to steal from me and Threaten me in the hallway of the entrance to the Casino! I would be willing to settle with them in a reasonable manner but I will tell everyone I know NOT to stay there or gamble at their Casino for the thrift is still working there as we speak!
