Complaint I hired this company to provide a classic car for my daughers wedding. The wedding was cancelled on March 19th and they were called on the same day. The wedding was scheduled for May 10th. When I first called the lady was very rude and said she would send me the deposit money back but would keep my other money since I put them out by not using them and they could have booked the date. After arguing with her and telling her that usually the company will keep the deposit and give the other money back she agreed and said she would send me all of the money back except for deposit amount of $100. I then told her Ihad the form that showed the deposit amount of $50 and not $100 and I had paid for the services in full at $350.00 she then agreed she would send back to me $300 and keep the $50 since i was misinformed about the deposit amount by the owners son who was there the day I came into the business to pay. I have been calling since March and she told me I would get my money soon. Just last week when I called I was told the check was in the mail, of course no check. I have called and called and now they will not asnwer the phone. I am pretty sure it is because they have called ID and can see it is me calling as my phone number shows my employers name as it is a company issued cell phone as well as when I call from the office it also show the company name so they know it is me. I tried to call them from a blocked number and they have their system programmed to state they do not accept blocked calls. I would like to get our money back if there is any way possible. If not, at least other consumers can be aware of this company. I have posted this on my personal facebook wall as well as their company facebook page. Thanks,*** ******* Product_Or_Service: Classic car rental

I immediate Y paid all monies in advance (will gladly furnish all documents and proof of payment). The agreement ensured clear titles for all vehicles (both parties). And shipping by *** *** *****
***** did not communicate any issues with the shipping, but after the cars did not arrive I called him multiple times and he promised to immediate resolve. The delivery by *** ** was established based on my leaving for Asia for work. Based on the initial lack of follow-thru by Mr. ******** I asked my parents to support (my *** tried to support but Mr. ******** promised three different weekends, my parents committed their time, and Mr. ******** did not call or communicate until the weekends passed *** I contacted him complaining (I will gladly provide emails, and all documentation).
After continued promises and non-follow thru Mr. ******** has admitted that he has spent the monies I paid as the monetary part of the contract (without him following thru as committed), and he does not have clear title to the ** and ** ****** so is now unable to settle monies owed without selling something else.
This is very poor business ethics at the least and represents complete lack of respect for the customer (Myself).
In review with Mr. ******** he committed to pay back ********* in (2) payments by ** ******* and **
Desired Settlement I would like to avoid legal action given I can get immediate repayment. My family and myself - are completely frustrated and feed-up and do not deserve the behavior involved. I ask for immediate payment of ********** In the event Mr ******** does not settle immediately I will be forced to seek legal action (which I prefer to avoid). Thanks, **** L ******
I will gladly provide any requested and related documentation.
Business Response /* ****** *** *********** */ I am responding to ******* ********'s accusation. Mr. ****** did receive the vehicle by shipper(proof available)in listed condition. After receiving said vehicle, Mr. ****** did a charge back on his credit card putting my business in a financial strain. Since then, both Mr. Alford and I have agreed it would be too costly in court, and have verbally settled and move on. Any further questions please call me. XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thanks, ******* ********
Complaint Wrong car, Late, unprofessional I did not have a good experience with this business. We drove from Longview Texas to Shreveport to look into renting one of their classic cars for a wedding per their website. I spoke and had written down exact details for our wedding. We paid $500 for them to drive their 1930 Chevrolet Sedan to Tyler Texas to escort us to and from our reception. We wanted the car to use for pictures as well. The car was to arrive at 7:00 pm. At 7:45 I, the groom, received a phone call that the driver was at the church, which we had already left because they were late, and wanted to know if the wedding was canceled. We were late arriving to the reception because the car was late. Then when he arrived at the reception it was in the wrong car. It was a 60's era Bel Air. The driver was dressed unprofessionally and looked sloppy. When we left he drove us around for 30 minutes because we needed to delay since our car was at the reception hall instead of the church. He ended up taking us to a gas station and filling up because he said he was low on gas. We sat in the car while people were taking pictures of us and the car. Not what a new bride and groom want on their wedding night. When he tried to return us to the reception hall he got lost. When I told him it was the wrong turn he argued with me. I was right. Once he returned us he waited around acting like he wanted a tip. We thanked him for his service and he was on his way. While my new wife and I were on our honeymoon my parents decided to negotiate a return from Colliers or Big Boy Toyz. They offered to return $150 of the $500 we paid. Their argument was that they did show up and so therefore they should be paid. All and all it was late, the wrong car, and unprofessional service. I do not recommend.
Desired Settlement We settled upon a $150 return. It has been 6 weeks and we have yet to receive or be contacted about the return. We will continue to monitor this progress.
Complaint *******'s Classic Cars has failed to honor an agreement to restore a classic car. Virtually, no work has been completed in 10 months. I delivered a vehicle in ***** **** to be restored within *** days. *******'s promised to have the vehicle completed 3 different dates after the 120 days elapsed and still has failed to complete the work. During the past ** months I've made over 100 calls and the Owner has only returned two. He acknowledged that he purposely wasn't answering my calls because he was so behind in the work. In addition, in late ******** **** on one of the ocassions that he did answer the phone, he promised that the work would be a priorty and that he would send pictures and answer any calls. As of ******* *** ***** ***** xxxxxxx, the owner, has not sent any pictures, reported any progress, or answered any phone calls. I live in ******** *** so it is not too convenient for me to drive to Shreveport during normal business hours to check on the vehicle. I've been very patient and have tried to avoid filing a lawsuit against *******'s. This is a first **** in trying to get resolution.
Desired Settlement I would like to have the work completed within thirty **** days or a full refund of $4500 so that i can get it completed elsewhere.
Business Response /* (1000, 8, *********** */ The problem has been resolved between Mr. ****** and ******* ******** via phone conversation. Any questions please contact ******* ******** @ XXX-XXX-XXXX or ***** ****** @ XXX-XXX-XXXX or XXX-XXX-XXXX.
Consumer Response Big Boyz Toyz and Hot Rodz has failed to honor a contract to fully restore a 1927 Model T. I filed a previous complaint against the owner of Big Boyz Toyz and Hot Rodz when he operated under Colliers Classic Cars. ***** ******** misrepresented that his company would perform a complete restoration within 4 months from contract execution. After promising that his company would deliver and begging for the opportunity to do so, Mr. ******** perform any of the services contracted for. He has not ordered parts or reassembled the vehicle and he failed to contractually submit any pictures of progress. Mr. ******** has been extremely dishonest and never answers or returns phone calls.
I would like to have a refund of $6500 and have the vehicle crated and prepared for shipment to an honest, reliable restoration shop in Houston, TX. This settlement would prevent litigation regarding Mr. ********'s dishonest conduct.
