Would you like to be honored for your ethical business practices?
BBB serving San Diego, Orange and Imperial Counties’ Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics are the best place to start!
The BBB Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics is an annual awards program to gain public recognition for businesses and organizations that maintain a solid commitment to ethical business practices. Held in December 2014, this luncheon celebrates entrants, recognizes their achievements and identifies the top industry leaders in our community. Every winner and finalist of a BBB Torch Award has an unprecedented opportunity for public recognition and well-deserved visibility.
Interested in the awards, but don’t know where to start? Applying for the BBB’s Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics may seem like a daunting task, but with our Torch Award Workshops, getting started has never been so easy!
Hosted every other week through August 6th, your BBB conducts free, one-hour workshops to guide attendees step by step through the 2014 Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics entry process. At these small and intimate workshops, attendees will learn about the Torch Awards, how to enter, how the winners and finalists are decided, the judging criteria and guidelines. BBB Staff will also go into further detail regarding the contents of the entries, the four components of the entry (including management practices, community/stakeholder relations, communications/marketing practices and industry reputation) as well as the benefits of being a Torch Awards winner or finalist.
It's never TOO early to start your award winning entry! In fact, the BBB recommends starting in early 2014 to have the best chance at producing a quality entry.
