May 05, 2014

Last week’s heat didn’t keep BBB serving San Diego, Orange and Imperial Counties from hosting our latest B2B Networking Mixer of 2014!  Held at Randy Jones All American Sports Grill in Hazard Center, guests beat the heat with our food, drinks and opportunity to mix & mingle with some of San Diego’s top businesses.

As usual, all BBB Accredited Businesses were able to attend free of charge thanks to our mixer underwriters, Health Savings Associates and SunCraft Solar Energy Systems. Non-Accredited Businesses were also given the opportunity to attend for a fee of $25; all proceeds received from the evening go towards the BBB Foundation – a 501(c)3 whose mission is to protect, inform and distribute resources to better the local community through education and outreach programs.

In addition, BBB thanks the following companies for contributing as Table Exhibitors: National Processing Company, San Diego Community News Group, Certified Air and Solar Universe Construction Mira Mesa.  BBB extends a big thanks to all companies who participated as sponsors at every level for this event – without them, our mixers would not be nearly as successful!

As is tradition, BBB President/CEO Sheryl Reichert told the approximately 100 business professionals in attendance a few embarrassing stories, shared important BBB news and raffled off a few prizes, courtesy of Health Savings Associates and San Diego Community News Group.

B2B Mixers are a great place for business professionals of all industries to socialize and get to know their colleagues from all over San Diego and Imperial Counties.  While all Accredited Businesses are encouraged to attend as a benefit of their membership, the opportunity for Non-Accredited Businesses to support the most ethical businesses in our community, as well as network and learn about the benefits of accreditation, is truly one that should not be missed in future months.  We do ask that Non-Accredited Businesses have a rating of a B or higher to attend in order to ensure that we have the most ethical companies from our community present.

Not only are these bi-monthly mixers a great way to network within the business community, but they are a way to publicly represent your company, talk to potential leads on a more personal basis and distinguish yourself from your competition.  Sometimes all that you need to bump your company’s success to the next level is face-to-face interaction; we at the BBB want to help you do so by attending our B2B mixers!

Overall, attendees of the May 2014 B2B mixer enjoyed a blend of networking, food and drink.  BBB thanks Randy Jones All American Sports Grill for hosting the event, in addition to providing all food and drink.  All information regarding B2B Mixers and other San Diego BBB events can be found here.  For all event photos, please visit the San Diego BBB’s Facebook page.

We hope to see you at our upcoming July 2014 B2B Networking Mixer at Riverwalk Golf Club.  For more information regarding BBB Networking Mixers, please contact Trang Nguyen or call 858-637-6199.
