I installed the Halo 5 water system 11 days ago. Since then, I have checked the water with a tester calibrated with NaCl (Sodium Chloride Test) several times. The result shows that the water is "Marginally Acceptable (322)". It is equivalent with average tap water. Indeed, I took to test of my tap water before the installation. At the time, the test number was the same as I have now after the installation. I am feeling a frustration that I spent $4000 for the same difference. The advertisement on the Halo website seems not true to me. Please, save your money.

Please save your money. In 2020, we had major renovations done at our home and when replacing all our plumbing lines and installing a new tankless water heater Option One Plumbing highly suggested we install the Halo 5, it would make our water heater easy to maintain, will not have to touch it for 10 years, it would also be good for our new fixtures for our remodeled bathroom and kitchen. This is not what we experienced. From day one we have been cleaning out debris from our shower heads and faucets. We get carbon-like debris in our fixtures that block water from clearing and over time we end up with trickles of water and discover we need to clean the filters the fixture heads come with to solve the problem. We contacted Halo 5 for support and after 2 weeks of exchanging photos and emails, there conclusion was the following:"My engineer said it looks like scale breaking loose from the existing plumbing. It also looks like some mud/sediment is mixed in. I would recommend sediment filtration before the Halo and I think that the scale issue will go away over time. It could take a while depending on how much scale they have in the lines.The system SC510 will fix this issue. "They want me to buy another system from them? They based this conclusion off of pictures, never offered to come and check the system. The existing plumbing was installed the same day as the Halo 5 system. I would look for a different product and stay away from this system.

We are very happy with our Halo H5-100. Its only been about two weeks but right away we tasted the difference and especially notice how much better our morning coffee tastes now. For over 30 years we had tank based-changed-monthly soft water and we were afraid we would miss the feel of that system. We do not! Our system is set to regenerate on Saturday late morning and thank goodness its not at night. It sounds like a jet engine is out there! I mention that because I noticed the paperwork suggests setting it to regenerate in the middle of the night and in our case, because the system is just outside our bedroom, that would be disruptive. But if you put it somewhere you wouldnt hear it then of course timing wont matter. Finally, added bonus! they have great and very responsive customer service!

This system is amazing/ 1st day laundry smells better than the ones from two days ago. Shower was awesome.. no chemical smell! Felt cleaner! Skin not dried out! ***** and **** came out, thorough explanation, efficient install, cleaned up the area, asked if we had questions I already have recommended this system to my neighbors!!! We purchased a whole house Halo 5 water conditioner system in March 2019 when we had the house repiped. Were very happy with the maintenance free system! Nothing like drinking ******* clear, clean water right out of the tap! Set it and forget it!I had my tankless water heater serviced earlier this year, March 2021. Standard preventative maintenance every 2 years. The service tech said the tankless system showed minuscule signs of any scale and/or other hard water deposits! Also no scale/buildup around faucets and shower heads. Its comforting to know that our other major appliances I.e., refrigerator ***************************** maker), dishwasher & washing machine will benefit from the conditioned water and get the benefit of extended life as well! Kudos to Halo!I had the pleasure of talking with ******************************, Halo Customer Support, about the pros/cons of adding a soft water (salt based) system to our Halo 5. ******************* was kind, courteous, knowledgeable & professional. She provided me with factual data, examples, details, system configuration information. All to help us understand and make an informed decision. I really appreciate that!In an age of automated customer service or non-service as I like to call it, it was very refreshing to talk to someone who genuinely loves her job and made it her personal responsibility to ensure I/we were completely satisfied! Since we purchased our halo water system, so far we are very happy and satisfied with it. ****** recommended for anyone needing to upgrade their water system!

We couldnt be happier. I only wish we would have gotten the **** 5 sooner.
