Complaint: We received a notice in the mail from this company last year. We contacted them to assist with lowering our tax situation. I was told by ***** initially that their company has helped many people get their tax payments lessened. We've been through at least 3 different representatives in the time frame of a year's time. There were 5 payments of $500, with a total of $2500. We started with this company since last July until now to finally get some answers. We've spoke on the phone a total of approximately 4-5 times in a year's time. They haven't kept in contact with us until we made calls to them. The company's representative states that they actually provided a service to us and did something for us. Why should it take a year to get some type of response for making a payment arrangement. We were able to call the IRS ourselves and was able to instantly get another payment agreement in the matter of a day. We're requesting our $2500 to be refunded back to us.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) complain that our office 

received for the lack of service provided as well a demand for full refund for the above 

taxpayers. Our office disagrees with the client complaint because we have done our best 

to represent the client, keep the taxpayer out collection and determine the resolution on 

the file based on the client's financials and the supporting documentation provided. 

The taxpayer's current balance owed to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is due to 

audit examination. The taxpayers failed to provide any of the requested documents 

during the exam per our conversation with the taxpayer. Based on our conversation with 

the taxpayers, Mr. ****** ****** stated that he has the proof of the expenses for each 

year that was in exam. It was determined and decided that he would provide proof of 

expenses per the exam report for each year so that our office may send the request to the 

IRS exam to reconsider the balance due possibly eliminate the entire balance. As of yet, 

our office has not received the requested information. 

The IRS has already determined the balance due because the burden of proof lies upon 

the taxpayer. The IRS immediately started the collection action through correspondence 

with the taxpayers. Our office immediately focused our attention on the collection aspect 

of the case because we didn't want client to be a victim of the collection action by the IRS 

such as garnishments, bank levies and seizers of assets, etc. Our office set the taxpayer 

on a payment plan based on the client's financials which determined that taxpayer can 

afford a payment plan of over $3125.00 per month. It is very important to point that the 

client didn't provided all their financial information on the initial questionnaire packet 

sent to the client. It was based on our company review that the client didn't list the VA 

disability income $901.00 per month as well lacked to provide proof of the second part

payment. It is our company policy that if the taxpayer has hidden information from our 

office, we have the right to close the file immediately. Our office decided to keep the file 

open so that we can help the taxpayers since we had come so close to resolution on the

abatement questionnaire and spent over close to 25 hours on the case, total fee of 

$6512.50 in billable hours. Our company spoke to the client more than just five times as 

stated in the complain through telephone and e-mails. We have attached a detail analysis
