On 7/22/22 I contracted Quality Improvement Products aka Quality Improvement Products, **** with an installation date of 8/18. On 8/10/22 I was advised the fabric was not available. I spoke to ******* who advised the owner ***** would call me. I spoke to ***** on the 12th of August. My conversation with ***** started with, there wasnt enough time allowed between the order and installation dates. I reminded him the date of installation was selected by his office. He then threatened to keep my $3000. down-payment if I cancelled, stating the contract could only be cancelled within 3 days of signing; that it's always sunny and missing my scheduled installation date would not impact my ability to bar-b-que or use the awning. ******** about going outside his usual distributors to find the fabric would to be costly. I finally hung-up. ***** called back offering a $400.00 discount. Which I accepted. Eventually 8/26/22, was set for installation. An e-mail confirming the installation was received 8/25/22, (7:06 a.m.). ***** thereafter phoned stating his office manager, *******, her family and he had been out with *****. I again agreed to reschedule the installation. The new date being 9/2/22. On 9/1/22, I received an e-mail confirming the installation for 9/2/2022. ***** also contacted me, his manufacturer doesnt have enough fabric to complete my order. That hed located a distributor in ******* that has the fabric. I specifically asked if his manufacturer was going to patch the two fabrics together or cut completely from the new bolt. The installation occurred on the 27th of September. The installers, drilled two holes in the house, and attempted to hide them. As expected there are 4 panels glued together. Under no circumstance do I believe 16ft wide requires 4 sections glued. Is/was it my advanced 70+ years, my gender or race, that invited ****** professionalism.
