Avoid this company at all costs! The are unprofessional, unreliable, and will scam you out of your deposit. We rented a property in ***** from March 2021 to March 2022. Our rental had black mold, it took months for them to even test it see if it was toxic. The homeowner came in and cut out the mold before it came back as positive for toxic mold, exposing our kids and household to even more spores! They then demo'ed the bathroom and left it without walls or availability for months. We had one bathroom for 5 people. We were finally able to find a new home so we put in a move-out notice. We cleaned the house, the carpets, and deodorized them as per our contract. Our move-out inspection noted only a red stain on the carpet and a musty smell in one bedroom, however when these women finally sent back our deposit they had deducted $750 from it claiming they had to blacklight the whole house because of the extremely strong urine smell and had to do 2 pet urine treatments. This was a total scam. I called the company they "used" for this service and caught that man in quite a few lies. They claim they have proof with pictures and videos of the dirty water. We did everything properly as tenants, we communicated and tried to be reasonable with these ladies. This is only a portion of the problems we had with them. I really hope others see this so they can avoid this headache.

This tenant's cats caused not only necessary carpet cleaning and deodorization, but tried to cover up damage their cat(s) did by painting the baseboards in the house in several locations where the cat(s) urinated on the baseboards causing the urine to run down between the baseboards and the carpet/pad. When the tenant originally set their appointment for carpet cleaning the declined the use of a blacklight to find urine spots and they declined deodorizing the carpet. Apparently they thought painting only the baseboards would hide the urine. The owner employed a second company to use a blacklight to find pet urine spots (and they were in several rooms), re-clean and deodorize the carpets. We do in fact have pictures and four witnesses as to the condition of the badly smelling urine odor in several rooms. We have pictures and a video of the filthy dirty water from cleaning, from the carpet cleaning company. The owner had to have that company do a second treatment pulling back the carpet and deodorizing the back of in and the pad as well. The tenant declined our assistance to help arrange carpet cleaning when they moved out. This tenant did not move because of anything wrong with the rental property. They transferred to Iowa and had purchased a home there, and gave notice because of their transfer and home purchase. There was no toxic mold in the property. The owner and management took action immediately when the tenant reported suspicion of mold and had proper testing performed. There was no toxic mold. The tenant himself, told me that they removed the caulking in the tub they are talking about; and by doing so , that allowed water to run between the tub and wall when the shower was being used, or if children were splashing in the tub. Because the tenant was in the process of moving and not real available, the owner did not want to disturb them and decided to finish the bathroom repair after the tenant moved out. The tenant said they were okay with that because they still had a second bathroom. We are sorry this tenant is so disgruntled about their own failures to accept our help, which would have saved them money. Instead, they attempted to hide the urine stained baseboards by painting them, and mask the odor and declined methods to find pet urine stains and properly clean and deodorize the carpet. Our business has an impeccable history of satisfied property management customers and clients. We do not like having to make security deposit reductions however, this particular tenant failed to properly clean and deodorize the carpeting, so the owner had to take action that required two more cleaning and deodorizing treatments, and instructed us to withhold the cost from the security deposit. Respectfully submitting response, Lynette M****

    Customer Response

Wow, that's a lot. These are all lies. Literally every single thing wrote are lies. I have emails, screenshots, and photos backing up my claim against this business. I have one outdoor cat. I do not have cats, nor did the cat that I have urinate everywhere so badly that it left the rental in the condition stated. My move-out inspection form, which I can show, states only a missing sink stopper and a musty smell in one bedroom. IF her statements were correct, then the strong urine smell would've been noted on that form. Cat urine scent is undeniable, and far from a musty odor. If the rental was in the condition stated here it would've been unbearable and noted during the move-out inspection. It was not, because there wasn't a smell. The whole response is a lie, which just helps my case. Half the time we couldn't get ahold of anyone with this business, most of the time emails, texts, or phone calls went unanswered. They don't respond to anything, so all the communications she claims happened didn't. We have receipts showing we cleaned and deodorized the carpets as per our contract. I have photos of the home's condition at the time of move-out, which I posted in my reviews elsewhere. I have proof of us requesting an inspection for mold sent November 30, 2021. Then the multiple text messages sent to the owner requesting an inspection from December to January, her response about being on vacation in December and getting back to us once she was back. The caulking was never there, and we noticed the mold in November when cleaning the tube and black stuff started to run out of the bottom of the wall connecting to the tub (where the caulking was missing.) We had not noticed the caulking was missing before that point in time, if we had we would've put in a work order like the many other ones we did. There are also photos I sent 1/28/2022 with all the mold exposure and cut walls by the owner, the proof goes on and on. I had to call Lynnette directly and ask for immediate help on the matter since the homeowner had pulled the walls open, exposed us to more mold and cut the worst parts of the mold out. I also have my medical records showing I was having respiratory issues for several months. I don't understand why this "upstanding" business would tell such outlandish lies. My family was not transferred to Iowa, we chose to move here. I was fed up with this rental company and the constant issues we were having with them. I did not want to deal with another rental company and wanted to move home. So we bought a home and moved across country. This business does not have an impeccable history with their clients, they barely have a web presence, and what little they do have is reviewed very poorly. We are reaching out for legal advice on the matter. I'm not sure what'll come of that, but at least this adds to my records of how egregious this lady can be. I am not even bothered by her response, it was honestly expected. The deductions from our deposit was too. That is how this lady works, but now she's at least exposing herself.
