I called DEPENDABLE PLUMBING because our HOA recommends it. I needed to get my shower cartridge replaced, when i called their business number i was given a quote of *** costs of the job was $245, and I said ok it's fine and scheduled the next day, but before they schedule me an appointment, I have to give them my credit card information including security code so they can have it on file and made sure that they are gonna get their money regardless of the situation! The following day the plumber arrived and checked what kind of cartridge i need and took a picture to ask Valley industrial plumbing supplies if they have them. He came back to my house and told me yes they have it. I said "Great!" And then he proceeded to tell me "Oh by the, the part cost $140 ($65+tax in valley industrial) plus my my labor cost $231 for a total of $371. I was like, what?" Yeah ok whatever! And then he proceeded again "Oh by the way an addition of $102 just for me to check what kind of cartridge you need" for a grand total of $473! And if there is a chance that I break your valve, that will cost you around $2thousand dollars!!!! I was like WHAT?! You break it and I still pay for it?!! If I am the plumber and the customer said yes to that, then I just given him the permission to break my valve so I can pay him to fix it!!! WHAT A Joke this company is!!!! Please Stay Away ******************

his is the worst plumbing company ever! They hire terrible people who do not know how to do the job. I had a plumbing issue and I was desperate since it was the weekend and my plumber was out of town. I wish I would have turned off the water and gone to a hotel and waited for my plumber to get back because that would have cost me less money than Dependable Plumbing. First of all, they send over an inexperienced plumber, *****, to my place who assesses the situation incorrectly. He then installs a new faucet, which by the way, took him over an hour and a half to buy at ********** and it is a 10 minute drive away. I tell him to buy a facet like mine and he first buys a weird wiry faucet which looks nothing like mine. I was charged for him to get another faucet, which was a sensor faucet, which was not what I asked for or what I have. Not only does he purchase the wrong faucet, he installs the sensor backwards and it did not work! They had to send out another plumber to fix his bad work. ***** tells me the job will cost me $1K and he ends up charging me $1500 and made it seem like he was doing me a favor by cutting costs. This company hires inexperienced people who do NOT know what they are doing. They will rob you blind of your money. HOA's like to use them probably because they are getting kickbacks. Dependable plumbing is NOT dependable. Avoid this company like the plague!
