    We are active duty military and this company was assigned to ** in 2019 for storage of furniture as we had orders to be stationed overseas. We moved back to the States in AUG2022 and Omega delivered our storage furniture. There were a few broken items and moldy furniture. We only took pictures of the broken items after we unpacked, but didn't take any pictures of the moldy furniture as we didn't want it unloaded in our new home, that was our mistake. We asked the movers what the next steps were, and they gave us a claim form to fill out. They told us that they can take all of the items we wanted to return to Omega for the claims process. We were told Omega would reach out to us to start the claims process. A month goes by and we don't hear anything and Omega wasn't returning our calls, so we finally reached out to the military DMO for assistance. Their representative also couldn't get Omega to respond, until they finally escalated the case. After the claims process was initiated, another month went by before we started asking for updates on a weekly basis until finally they returned with an offer. This was their reply: "Apologies for the delay in processing your claim. The bed drawers were not returned to the warehouse and the mover that delivered your items in no longer employed at Omega. Since there are no pictures, the issue with the mold cannot be evaluated. Omega offers you a total of $375." This reply doesn't seem acceptable at all... Because of Omega's negligence and delay in processing our claim, now the movers no longer work for the company and they don't even have possession of the moldy furniture that we returned. So with the problem that they created, they will now just ignore? It seemed like they weren't going to ever even follow up on the claim that was submitted back in August if we didn't follow up on it.

    It is a total scam.First, they told us they use vaults so our furniture will be in vaults in their storage area which was not true. Second, Many of our furniture were damaged, and broken. THEY DO NOT PAY FOR THE DAMAGES OR BROKEN items even with the 50 cents per pound calculation. **** just ran us around for 5 months for the damages and wasted our time and energy until we gave up. Their office manager (********) never returned my calls and when I called her she occasionally simply hung up on me. I give this company "0" star. One is too many. In January, 2022, they delivered our belongings which we realized we have several items broken, and damaged. After, we contacted them. **** asked us to fill out the forms and submit pictures. So, We did as they requested and emailed them over 20 pictures of broken items. This was back in Jan. **** only offered us $100 with no itemized list. We explained to them that with the 50 cents per pond the damages should be way over $100 closer to $800. That is when they started to run us around. Never returned our calls and hung up on us often. Eventually, we left a msg stating that we are OK with the $100 but they still do not pay. I strongly believe that they should not be in a moving business. With the 50 cents per pound formula, we have lost over a $800 in damages. **** don't even give us $100. The most important problem for me is:- Their customer treatment - False promises - Bait and switch - False advertisement
