Complaint: This company does not train their caregivers and sends incompetent caregivers to our home. They over charge for their incompetent caregivers. Caregivers neglectful to give showers to patient and leave persons they care for alone and unattended when they are on the clock and being paid to care. Caregivers are constantly late. Owner of agency constantly making excuses for her incompetent caregivers and the mistakes that they make. Owner charges a lot of money for poor quality service. Caregivers leave patients feces on living room floor and did not clean it up when accident occurred, and it's their job to clean it. Caregivers stealing from patients and owner was informed and did nothing about it. Caregivers over dose patients medication or don't administer medication at all. Caregivers lazy and sit on couch and do nothing all day while getting paid, and some even sleep on the job. Owner does not inform caregivers on how to care for patient. Caregivers are supposed to cook for patient and get lazy and don't. Caregivers neglect to give patient her walks or exercises and this should be done daily. Owner does not make visits to patient's home to see how her caregivers are doing with patient. A very unorganized and unprofessional agency with very poor quality care.

Business Response:

Age advantage hires only experienced, caring and compassionate care givers. Our caregivers are put through a rigorous hire process to make sure that they are competent, honest and provide excellent care. Our prices are very reasonable, actually very low for the services we provide. The clients were given their showers, exercise, and medications; they cooked for them and kept the house clean. I totally disagree with this claim and I don’t wish to proceed further. The BBB should do its own investigation before posting any accusations on its website.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am not surprised the company is denying the claims made in the original complaint. I have evidence and witnesses to back the complaints I have made. This company has never taken responsibility for their incompetent caregivers they have sent to our home.
