Complaint: we purchased a membership with Directbuy of Long Beach located at **** **** ****** ******* ****** ***** *** ***** ON 5/18/2014, we chose that location because it was close to our home, within 3 months they closed and we were informed we had to use the ******* ***** location (which is too far) to visit the showroom which we were told we could do at ant time at the ****** **** store, based upon this information we purchased the membership. ******* ***** is quite a distance from ******* and failure to keep the ****** **** store open is a breach of contract. They knew when they signed us up for that location they were moving. They lied to us by not disclosing the fact they were anticipating closing the location close to our home, we never would have joined Directbuy knowing we would have to travel so far.
Desired Settlement: We want our contract cancelled without further billing and refund all monies and interest paid to date.
DirectBuys are all franchises. This member joined at another club. We are the closest location to them so they have filed this complaint with us. However, we did not sell them this contract and we do not have their money.
