I sold my vehicle to ***** at the Mossy Ford used car dealership in ********* on 3/8/2023. 4 weeks later, I still had not received my payment for the vehicle or had my loan paid off. I was even charged a car payment and sent a letter from the *** condemning me for taking my insurance off of the vehicle. I called ***** and his manager, *********************, multiple times to resolve this issue, but they just told me to keep waiting. At one point, they couldn't find my paperwork so I needed to send them all of my carbon copies. I did not have the vehicle's loan paid off until 4/3/23 (26 days later) when I took a morning off of work and went to the dealership in person demanding a check. I believe this business is in violation of California Code, Vehicle Code - VEH *******. After I submitted on Yelp, I received several threatening/harassing texts from ***** on my personal phone trying to coerce me into taking down the review.Review from Douglas J.

This dealer's service department quoted me $1900 to replace a mode door actuator (passenger side). Did the repair myself with little to no mechanical experience, took me 20 minutes and the part was $12 (***). Stronger part that lasts longer can be had for $20-25. Dealer's parts department also quoted me $80 for the *** replacement part.I fully expect to pay a premium when using a dealer vs. private mechanic for repairs, but the price difference is absurd. Received two separate quotes from private mechanics for $200.I am now questioning any job I had done here in the past. Followed their recommendations up until this point without much thought. Pretty disappointing from the service department. Department managers should be ashamed of their pricing models. I can get past the labor rates, but at least be accurate with quotes on labor hours. Over marked up my car and manipulated me on car payment never showing me the numbers. I regret buying here. I tried to return the car the next morning but the rep said he would talk to his manager and never got back to me. Do not buy here they are greedy and do not care about you.
