Complaint: ASSE has failed to provide appropriate service for an exchange student that was in our care. They did not provide adequate service to us as a host family in our attempts to address issues with our exchange student. They have not met financial obligations related to the exchange student in accordance with the exchange student program.

Desired Settlement: ASSE needs to provide written documentation stating that ASSE, rather than the host family, is responsible to resolve disputes related to the debts accrued by the exchange student.

Business Response: ASSE International, Inc. (ASSE International Student Exchange Programs) is responsible to resolve disputes related to the debts accrued by an ASSE exchange student.  ASSE works with the student's travel insurance company and any medical providers to achieve payment of medical costs to providers.
