In an effort to bring quick and cost-effective resolutions to customer disputes that may arise relative to manufactured homes the Council of Better Business Bureaus developed the Right at Home Informal Dispute Resolution Program.
The Right at Home program works with the retailer, installer, manufacturer and customer to resolve claims relating to homes sold by the manufacturer in one proceeding. The Right at Home process may include mediation and/or non-binding arbitration as methods to resolve the complaint. Current participants in the Right at Home program include American Homestar and Cavalier Homes. All such proceedings will be conducted by the BBB in accordance with rules.
