Had really high hopes for Worldwide Cyclery. Had already purchased an item or two from them before and everything went well. However, my recent order confirms to me that the company doesn't care about its customers or their satisfaction. Bought a suspension fork on Amazon and had to send it back because the 3rd party seller claimed it was new but it was used. I thought Worldwide Cyclery would do better. So, I purchased a Fox suspension fork from them just under $800. Arrived in 4 days or so and it was just a basic Fox suspension box. It was taped with Worldwide Cyclery's tape. Box was in pretty bad shape. Opened it and had to rush out the door so it looked okay. When I came back, I checked it more thoroughly and found a deep gash. I find it hard to believe the shipping company (USPS) did this much damage to the fork. Instead, it looks like something that was done previously. Either way, this is WWC's fault. The company didn't do anything to protect the item. Or, they sent out a damaged product to begin with. Very bad. I've also purchased a suspension fork from Bicycle Addiction and the box was placed in a larger cardboard box with padding. Still waiting for Worldwide to get back to me, but I expect a headache. If I have to sent it back via FedEx or UPS, I'll have to drive 30 - 40 minutes to find a drop off. If I have to sent it USPS, I'll have to drive 5 - 10 or longer. This company should do a little more to ensure its customers are going to be satisfied. Protect the items you send out and doublecheck them before putting them out the door. Will not buy anything from this company again unless I have no other choice.
