This company doesn’t replace windows they subcontract other windshield replacement companies don’t use them use a real glass replacement company was quoted $370 for windshield and installation they ended up charging me $529 and it hasn’t been installed yet the company they contacted still hasn’t installed my window the appointment time came and went. $150 increase from quote and I’m still waiting. They are a middleman and their quotes are far from the actual price. Just contact a real window replacement company WINDSHIELDSTOGO isn’t anything but a contracting agency. They didnt even come close to honoring their quoted price and would have been cheaper at any of the local glass replacement places.

Made the appointment, they authorized credit card, 9am-1pm install time. No call no show! At the minimum a courtesy call confirming the install the day of, and certainly a call if they are not going to make the scheduled window. Wasted my time and day.

I was quoted a price for new windshield of $307 dollars installed tomorrow morning. The tech called and said I could have the windshield installed this afternoon instead. The tech also said that I needed a rain sensor for extra cost and a new rubber seal. I don't need a new rubber seal or the rain sensor since it comes attached to the new windshield from the factory.. He then said the new price would be $366. I have had my windshield replaced 7 times over the years for this same car. I know for a fact that all the windshields for my Mercedes year and model, come with a rain sensor built into the glass. There is no glue on sensor sold for my windshield regardless of the brand. I hate being scammed and will never buy another windshield from Windshields to go.

Ordered on July 21 2022. Windshield replacement scheduled for July 29, 2022. They took my credit card for authorization to be charged after work is confirmed. They said 'make sure you stay with your phone because someone will call you to confirm they are coming'. July 29: Organized my full day to stay home in 90+ degree weather, stayed by phone. No one came, or called, or messaged. Left a message on their chat at 4:25pm, to ask where the installer was. No response. Called no one picked up. Left another message at 5:42pm. Requested that a manager called me first thing on Monday. Noone contacted me. Aug 2: Still no one contacted me. Left another message in chat and called them. Someone pickup and said she was going to call the installer when they open and call me back. She has not called back. ... Later someone called me to see if someone had called me regarding the thread. I told them about my call earlier and that I was still waiting for an appointment. He said he was going to sort it out and call me right back. I still have not heard from anyone at 7:20pm. Stay away!!!

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased a windshield from this so called business! Everything seemed fine at first, a little pricey, but since they were coming to me, I thought it was fair. Got the windshield installed. Then after four days the rubber gasket around the top started to come loose, my husband had to tape it back until we were able to get Michael to come and reseal it. About a week later I noticed a tear in my passenger seat. I called to report the tear and was told that they are technician could not have caused that. Now I have a rip in my leather seat. Over the weekend the rubber gasket on the driver’s side came off. On my one day off I started calling them at 930am. I was assured someone would call me back in 2 hours, no one did. I called them at 3pm and the representative got the supervisor, Cheryl on the line. She stated she read my email I sent them over the weekend requesting help (then why didn’t anyone call me?) and would try to find some to come out and fix it. I had requested someone besides the original tech, because obviously he couldn’t get the job done and I don’t want any more damage to my car. This so called supervisor advised me they closed at 5 CST. I never received a callback and called them at 5 and the recorded message stated they closed at 5EST! I have been lied to by this company, had my vehicle damaged, and basically threw money away because my windshield has not been properly installed and noone will take responsibility for the damage to my leather seat the technician caused!! IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND ARE SHOPPING AROUND FOR WINDSHIELDS, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO NOT USE WINDSHIELDS TO GO. COM! SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

They ask for a credit card before they give a quote and/or make an appointment. And, when I wrote to their chat about it, the chat (email) bounced back. Hence, fraud, fraud, fraud.
