Unwillingness to communicate with me about my child. Said, he would be ready for 6th grade Math.
After 6 months into the program, she tells me she doesn't have an opening for my son. She said it was my responsibility to move his name on her board. Strangely enough, I am handing her a check for enrollment fees. I called her on the phone. She had me extremely frustrated as I told her, he went from elementary school to middle school, his time needed to be changed. When I asked, do you mean to tell me you don't have an opening? She kept telling me, yes, 3:30. (which, I just explained will not work for us). We repeated this about 3 times. She had me against a wall. So, my son didn't have any tutoring for 2 or 3 weeks, yet she was paid. Then, we finally go back and I have tried to speak with her, but she avoids me, on more than 1 occasion. She speaks to everyone in the room except me. So, I sent her an email, which she ignored. I finally sat down with her and asked if she received my email. She replied yes. She refused to tell me why she didn't reply back. I explained my son failed his first Math test. I told her, you said he would be ready for 6th grade Math. She insisted that she didn't say that. That is a lie. In a meeting on my son's progress, she told me, my husband and my mother, he would be ready for 6th grade Math, after continuing tutoring through the summer. Yesterday, she said he needed to bring the material to class to be tutored on. No mention of this, after 2 months of summer school without any materials.
She is rude, doesn't realize I am a customer. She talks to everyone in that baby voice. But, she isn't truly interested in your child. Or my son wouldn't have gone weeks without any tutoring. I can't believe anyone would operate a business this way, especially when children are involved. This costs $4068 a year, too much money for such lack of professionalism. Thus, she tells you of all of her skills and accomplishments. Ironically, she isn't the one teaching. Instead it is high school kids. BIG RED FLAG. The kids are obviously better with the children than *********.

Desired Settlement
I want the registration fee of $65 made in August. I want July and August tuition back since he wasn't instructed on materials needed to bring him up to date to 6th grade level Math. I want September tuition to be waived or refunded.
And I want out of the contract.
I feel this is fair considering, his school teacher is making him attend tutoring at the school in order to re-take the test he just failed.

As a Franchisor, we are strongly committed to quality and service at our individual Centers.

Nothing is more important to us than for our children to receive the services they deserve. To that end, we do our best to try and resolve customer service issues (that may arise, though they are rare) by reaching out to the customer and to the Franchisee and have them come together to resolve the issue. In this case, we have contacted the customer to contact the Franchisee to resolve the issue.

We look forward to an amicable resolution.

I received a response from *********/Franchisee contradicting everything I reported to the BBB. It was not until I filed a report did she try to listen, which was about a month later. I had already had enough and decided it was in my child's best interest to seek other help/tutoring. His level in school is beyond what he the Tutoring School is teaching him.
I am very unsatisfied with the why I was treated and results my son received. She blatantly ingnored me on serval occassions, while I while my son was being tutored. Again, contradicting her "so called" testimonials.
I want out of the contract and fees, previously mentioned. ********* spoke to me like a child. I am done with her and the school. I want resolution. Again, she didn't try to resolve or work with me until, she received action from the BBB. Sincerely, ******** *********

Once again, we have reached out to our Franchisee and the consumer with the hope that they will continue their conversation and find an amicable solution.

Nothing is more important to us than for our children to receive the services they deserve.

It is our understanding that both parties are in communication with one another.
