Customer Complaint History
Consumer complaints allege that consumers are being charged extremely high rates for international phone calls and not being properly informed about the rates prior to making the phone call. Some consumers state they are charged for calls even though they were never connected or the call did not go through. In addition, BBB files show a delay in responding to consumer complaints brought to the company's attention by the BBB.
The company agreed to work with the BBB in an attempt to eliminate the pattern of consumer complaints by bringing their customer service department in house, making sure that all carriers are aware of their billing procedures, policies, and rates. At this time it does not appear that any changes implemented by the company have had an impact on the complaints received by the BBB.
This company is also unsatisfactory for failing to respond to consumer complaint(s).
When considering complaint information, please take into account the business's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.
BBB processed a total of 606 complaint(s) about this business in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total 606 complaint(s) closed in the last 36 months, 164 were closed in the last 12 months.
