Stay away from this company. Do not sign a contract with them nor place a deposit for materials to be purchased. I signed a contract for a simple bathroom remodel on 10/8/23. I was told to pay a progress payment of almost 1/3 of the total price to purchase materials. I asked for the project to start 1/2/24. I was told that I would receive scheduling phone calls in December. No one ever called. I called 1/2/24 asking for an update. They had no idea of what was happening. Found out the tile was backordered. A 3 month lead time was given but no one ever told me. I am figuring they never ordered anything. There was no schedule in place and no one at the office had any answers. The salesman who signed the contract with me has never called to explain any of these delays. Finally, they got a subcontractor to demo the shower/tub only. I asked for a date of the next subcontractor. They said a plumber would be by on 1/17/24 to get the plumbing set up for the new shower and install a shower pan. He never arrived. I called the office and they quickly called someone. He came by later and stated the company never called him nor let him what the job was. And there was no shower pan that he could install. SD Flooring is a completely disorganized and uncaring company. They took my deposit but have not followed through on this project. Every time I call or come by the office for answers, I get the impression I am bothering them. That goes for all the employees at this location. I have left 2 voice messages for someone to call me to discuss this situation, but no calls have been returned. I don't expect they will call. Please do not use this business at all.
