We need a graphic designer...
This position is the supporting role to our President and for our clients who are franchising their business. You must: be creative with a think outside-the-box personality, be an articulate communicator, be proficient in Adobe and other graphic design software programs, have good writing skills, be a self-starter, resourceful and possess the ability to generate excitement and establish trust with each client.
To start, your responsibilities fall into one area, graphic design and marketing to support our clients. An essential part to this position is to take the lead on projects with clients to develop all their franchise marketing collateral pieces. Under the supervision of the President, your role is to: learn about their franchise concept, capture information from each client about what subjects to cover so you can come up the design and content of each piece; make necessary revisions and provide all pieces in print-ready and electronic formats. Your success in this area, hinges upon your ability to establish trust, confidence and consistent follow up. In addition you will be:
*Working with our President to learn about each client project;
*Performing follow-up consultations with clients according to our established policies and procedures;
*Creating website pages and banners;
*Creating advertisements for various publications;
*Creating vehicle wraps, designs for apparel and promotional products;
*Editing a variety of marketing pieces already created;
*Editing images and creating and/or editing logos,
*Preparing PowerPoint presentations;
Guidelines on how to: prepare all franchise marketing collateral pieces; determine topics for each piece and how to communicate with our clients will be provided to you. You will be trained on our services, our franchise development process and basics on franchising so that you are well versed and can steer clients in the right direction when creating their franchise marketing collateral. In certain situations you will be the liaison between our clients and website developers. You must create a positive experience for our clients.
You will be required to report to the President on the progress of all projects assigned to you.
The nature of this position requires that you work in our office located in Mission Valley.
Experience with working on projects, meeting deadlines and customer service is required. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other graphic design specific software is a must. Either currently working on or has a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and/or two to three years related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

- c. Create and edit documents using graphic design software products;
- d. Database management skills;
- e. Ability to gather data, compile information and be resourceful;
- f. Ability to use independent judgment, manage and impart information to a range of clientele and/or media sources;
- g. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate activities;
- h. Willingness to learn and establish of different marketing strategies; and
- i. Most importantly a positive attitude.

Over the next 90 days we will start out slowly by teaching you the basics so you can fully understand the franchising industry and the type of franchise marketing collateral pieces we offer clients. We would expect that your involvement will make a significant difference in enhancing our services. As this position gains momentum, we would expect your role to turn into a full-time position and would like to see you help develop other marketing and advertising programs that we can offer our clients.
