I bought a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 brand new and the transmission went out in January 2021, it was replaced with supposedly a new transmission because it was still under warranty, now exactly 2 years later the transmission went out again. My car does not qualify for the Lemon Law due to the age and mileage, but I don't understand how 2 new transmissions can go out within 2 years. Every mechanic that I have spoken with says that that is unheard of and that possibly there is another issue that is burning out the transmission. If that is the issue, I don't understand why the Mitsubishi experts can't see this. I would like to file a complaint against Mitsubishi for all the pain, stress and financial problems this has caused me in the last 2 years. I am still paying for this vehicle and have 10 more payments to go, but I had to purchase another vehicle, because they have had my car for a month now waiting for my extended warranty to ok for them to fix it. When they had my car the first time when the transmission went out in 2021, they had my car for 3 months when it was still under warranty and Mitsubishi wouldn't even pay for me a rental car.
