    I financed a ******** GLA 250 from Kearny Mesa Toyota on the 5/24/2022, this is the date on the contract, I actually signed all the documents on the 5/22/22, there was some sort of mess up in the system and I was asked to call back in and redo the contract. I selected only 1 add on which was a maintenance package, the first time I signed all the documents. When I called back in to re sign the contract I was rushed through the process and thought all was done as the first time. I was told by the finance manager that the maintenance package would cover the full costs of servicing for a period of time. When it was time to have the car serviced I called up Kearny Mesa Toyota to book it in only for them to tell me that they cant service the vehicle because it was a ******** and that I should call ********. I called ******** and told them that I had a maintenance package and sent them my contract to which they told me that this package was only worth 10 dollars per service. I paid **** dollars for this thinking it would cover the costs. After finding this out I reviewed the contract to which I found they had also added on a warranty service of **** dollars. I did not ask or agree to this as the car had and still has factory warranty. There is also a charge for Theft Deterrent Device of 995 dollars. ******** of ********* told me that this comes standard in ******** and I should not have been charged for this. I called into Toyota and asked to speak to the finance manager who dealt with this contract and he passed me off to the sales manager, the sales manager made me an offer of 50 percent of the money back to which a decline. I tried contacting ***************************** the head sales manager for weeks. Once I mentioned I would open a complaint to the BBB he returned my call and offered 100 percent back on the maintenance package and would call me back the following day to tell me what he could gibe back on the Warranty. I havent heard from him since.

    i took my car in for a oil change due to my check engine light was on.. took car into dealership was told by rep that my car did not need a oil change due to its a newer car 2015 rave4 and that the oil is synthetic and that it does not have to be replaced every 3 month like you do on a older vehicle. So i believed him and he said we can do a 3 point star inspection to see what needs to be fixed. they came back to me and charged me $50.00 dollars and handed me a 2 page long things red/yellow/green issues found on my car. told me the red issues need to be replaced ****. Took my car to my mechanic 2 months later my battery died on my car and my water pump was leaking on my car. i replaced my battery and he was looking over other issues, asked me you said they did a oil change i said no they told me my sticker on windshield shows 4/24 so iam good till then , he pulled out my dip stick right in front of me and said oh look you barely have oil on your dip stick. So be aware ladies, i know it ***** that we cannot trust a business like Toyota to have honest men working in there establishment. i could of blown my engine and would of had to bought a new car ! they would of been responsible and they would of never of taken care of me.
