Read Complaint Details
Complaint: I was billed for services that were already provided by another company, did not give said company authorization to do any work nor was given a bid. I live in a rental house and the pool had turned green. I called about 15 different pool companies and left messages, Perfection Pools was one of the companies that I called and they stated that it would be at least two weeks before they would be able to address the pool issues. After two weeks of no response to my initial call, I called again and asked how long it would take to provide the service. Perfection Pools responded with "up to two more wks." At that point I decommissioned them and told them I would look elsewhere. I commissioned another pool company to do the work. The pool was completely fixed and treated. Apparently without my approval Perfection Pools let themselves into my backyard and stated that they had added chemicals and did additional work which had been done days previously by Home Team Pool and Spa Services. I received a bill weeks later for $167.18 on the date of 4-1-2013 with the invoice #XXXXX. I have called Perfection Pools on three separate occasions to try to nullify this bill, I have talked with the manager, the gentleman who actually performed the "work", their secretary and then again today the owner who had the audicity to hang up on me. Again, Perfection Pools is charging me for work that had already been done by another pool company 4 days prior and this pool company can testify to the work that was already completed. The owner informed me that 95% of his commissioned work is done without offering a bid and they typically do not call the residence when they would come by to do the work. This seems very odd. Services were performed by Perfection Pools that were not commissioned and that had already been done by another pool co. - Home Team pool and spa service, days previous. I do not feel responsible for the Services of Perfection Pools and again they were not commissioned to do the service nor did they call us prior to their on site visit. ****** ***********
Desired Settlement: I request that the bill be nullified.
