The information described below outlines an incident involving ABT Plumbing. The information is being furnished to the Better Business Bureau and has also been sent to the **************** who ran an article on this business several weeks before the incident ), The *********** Council, The ********************************** and The *********** Chamber Of Commerce. Apparently the detail of the incident exceeds the word limit. This complaint then concerns the fraudulent misrepresentation to a homeowner of work to be done which was never done. The work concerned a simple shower handle that was sticking. The ABT Plumber who came to the owners home fraudulently informed the homeowner who is an older lady who lives alone and knows nothing about plumbing, a false representation of the work that needed to be done. The work did not need to be done to repair the shower handle. The ABT Plumber never did the work but instead merely applied silicone to the handle and left the owners home twenty minutes later with a check for $319.00..This fraud and actually out and out stealing has been reviewed and corroborated by an independent licensed plumber who also happens to work for Placer County. This is the way ABT is doing business. I have the hard copy documentation, two witnesses and the aforementioned corroborating expert licensed plumber. If ABT is bilking people who know nothing about plumbing or the extent and cost of repairs such as this person, it can only be imagined what they are doing to others.
