I hired Big Mountain to do a Peak Performance Check (annual maintenance to clear debris from my heat & air system,) & quickly realised their intent was to find issues to repair or replace my system. Along with trying to sell a monthly maintenance discount plan.After having 2 other companies tell me i did not need to repair anything on my heating system, and explained Big Mountain hadn't done the job i paid for in my attic, plus the mold they stated was in my duct system was not in the ducts, but on the condenser, and dried out. They stated my unit was dripping oil, which was true, but what was not true was carbon mynocide would fill the air in my home if it overheated.I called Big Mountain and asked for a refund. This request was based on the paperwork they gave me guaranteeing 100% satisfaction. Which also guaranteed the use of a tarp at the crawl hole access point, (which wasnt used) or leaving my home without cleaning up, (I explained their ladder was covered with debris, which slipped debris on entering and leaving all over my carpet that I cleaned up.) When i called Big Mountain the first time on 1/26/24, i was told i would get a call back, then I called today 1/29/24, and told my reasoning did not justify a refund. I spoke to a friend that immediately told me not to use them, that she contacted the BBB, after having issues with this company.
