BBB Elects New Officers and Directors

The board of directors for Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Central Virginia elected the following officers to guide the organization in 2014: 

  • Chair:  Matthew Neels, Capital One
  • Vice Chair: Mark Binshtok, Mr. Fix-It
  • Secretary: Isabelle Hilliard, Old Dominion Home Health Services
  • Treasurer: Harry Garmon, The Bookkeeping Department
  • Immediate Past Chair:  Roderick W. Simmons, Hirschler Fleischer
  • General Counsel: John Adams, McGuireWoods LLP
  • President & CEO: Thomas J. Gallagher
  • Senior Vice President:  Barbara Homiller

The following individuals were elected to three-year terms on BBB’s board of directors:  Ronnie Adolf, Adolf Jewelers; Mark Binshtok, Mr. Fix It; Clark Evans, Dobson & Evans LLC CPAs; John Felton, WCVE-TV Channel 23; Mary Jane Ganey, Zacharias Ganey Health Institute; Harry Garmon, Top of Mind Mailings LLC; Gary Glover, Puritan Cleaners; Herman Glover, Insurance Security Associates; Bernie Henderson, Woody Funeral Home; Isabelle Hilliard, Old Dominion Home Health Services; Richard Johnstone, VA, MD, DE Association of Electric Cooperatives; Matthew Neels, Capital One; Patsy Piggott, US Army and Lisa Schaffner, UNOS.

The following individual was elected to a two-year term on BBB’s board of directors:  Charlene Whitfield, Dominion Virginia Power.
