    In November (11/14/22), I was told that I was getting a refund ($1296.00) for ultrasound services that I prepaid for my toddler in early October. They said it would be sent out soon. I received nothing in the mail. On January 6 I called and talked to a rep who told me the refund check was sent on Dec. 1st 2022. I had not received it so I asked if they could see if it was cashed. They said they would ask the accounting department and get back to me. No contact. I called again on the January 11. Again told they would contact the accounting department and get back to me. On January 12 I talked with an online leader who said she marked my request as important to the accounting department. She told me to allow up to 30 days for a response. After 30 days I still have not received word on if the refund check was cashed. I called again on February 14. I was told my request was marked high priority. I still have not received word on what happened to the refund I was supposed to get (about $1300.00). I would like to know if the check was cashed so I can file a police report or if it was never cashed if they could cancel that check and issue a new one.

    I was referred to a wonderful dietician at St. ****** by my Bon Secours primary care doctor and my first appt was 11/29/2022. I paid my $40 co-pay fee at the time of the appt and was not told that the dietician does not take my insurance. I was charged $264 for this hour session. The dietician was shocked because the out of pocket fee for his service is $104. I have been fighting this bill for a year and a half. This bill was sent to collections because they would not accept my payment of $64 dollars to cover this charge ($104 - $40 co-pay= $64. The bill has been reduced to $77.04 but will still not accept my payment of $64. I had another dietician appt on 12/21/2022 and the bill once again for this appt for the same dietician is $264.00. Again, I paid a $40 co-pay at the time of service. I told Bon Secours I can pay $64 (the $104 dollar out of pocket fee minus the $40 co-pay). They refused this and sent this bill to collections as well. Last week I offered to pay Bon Secours a total of $128 to cover both of these bills. They refused. I offered the same with the collections agency and they refused as well. I understand that I should have checked with my insurance company if they covered this dietician and I'm willing to pay the out of pocket fee of $104 (minus my co-payment).
