    3/7/23. I received a quote of $709 for timing belt replacement. When the vehicle was dropped off I listed several other things that were wrong with the vehicle and was told I would receive a call from the shop. Shop called at 3:07pm and ******** stated that the motor mount was in need of replacement. He specifically stated there would be no additional labor charge to change since he had to take it off to replace the timing belt. He also stated oil had leaked on the serpentine belt and stretched it out and serpentine pulley was bad, which would be a $300 charge. I refused this service because I did not believe the belt or tensioner was defective. I told him to since he already had the vehicle apart that I just wanted the timing belt and motor mount replaced. I wanted to keep cost to a minimum. Please note the time of 3:07pm. Shop hours 7:30am- 5:30pm 3/8/23, I was at the shop at 9:30am and repairs were complete. ******** said spent all morning drilling out motor mount bolt. Claims it was broken off when the vehicle was brought in. No mention of this the previous day, so not sure if pre-existing. ******** also claimed one of the alternator bolts was broken off. I do not believe this, as there have been no issues with the alternator and if a bolt was missing the serpentine belt would not be able to keep tension on the alternator. His billed time does not match. Billed 5 hours labor for timing belt replacement and 2 hours for bolt repairs although vehicle was fixed by 9:30am. Time frame does not add up since no mention of broken bolts at 3:07pm (removal of mount not done yet) and work completed at 9:30am only 4.5 hours lapse time. There is no way he worked 7 hours on vehicle. Also gouged on parts, ******** claims used 4 cans of break cleaner 3 bottles of power steering fluid (not authorized) and charged $30 for antifreeze. Cleaner and antifreeze should have been included in timing belt quote. Request refund of over-billed amount.

    Took my vehicle in because my brake warning light had been off and on for a few days. I was a walk-in, so it took a bit before they could look at the van (but not unreasonably long, about an hour). They diagnosed and fixed the problem, and also informed me that my front pads were basically nonexistant (showed me later to verify) and did I want to replace them then? Which we did, and the work was done in about another hour. Very happy with the work, the time, and the price. Staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. Will go back if/as needed!
