I have requested a cancellation and refund on my Vehicle Service Contract that I purchased with them. Back in April of 2021, I made my request to cancel, Majid H**** sent over a form for me to fill out, and I sent it over with my satisfaction of lien proof. A year passes, and I hear nothing about receiving a refund check. Legally, they do have to send this refund. Today, I called and they told me that the money was sent to my lienholder (Langley FCU) even though I had specifically stated that they had been paid off and to not send it there. After hearing that, I called Langley, and they told me that they have no record of a check for $*******. After that, I called back CarWeb, only to have the accountant speak to me rudely, and tell me that I didn't have any understanding of how it worked, when I do the same thing for a living. I explained to her that Langley has no record, and she said that wasn't true, and that she wasn't able to check if the check had been cashed or not because it was too long ago. At this point, I feel as if the dealership doesn't want to take the chargeback, and was just hoping that I would forget about it. After selling me a broken car, and lying about the carfax, now they aren't able to refund me for the service contract I was pressured into purchasing. All I would like is for a refund to be sent to me, for the full amount from the date that I cancelled, and for investigation to be done into this dealerships shady business practices.
