Absolutely awful customer ********************** and major bait and switch tactics. Allianz advertised that I could have the cost of my ticket covered through their policy if there is a transportation issue. As I have the event coming up on 4/19/24, I contacted them on 4/15/24 to let them know I would not be able to make the 100+ mile drive to the venue due to the lack of transportation. They offered an alternative service but I was too far away to utilize it. Basically was left talking to both the team member **** and his Supervisor, both who said theres absolutely no way they could give me my money back for the ticket. Major bait and switch, tell you that you can utilize the insurance policy if you cant make it but then switch and make you go as far as to prove your car is not working/broken/no vehicle to make it. They even go as far as to try and violate HIPPA laws by asking you for proof if you claim you cant make it due to physical or mental illness. I am now completely out of the money I paid for the ticket and I am unable to resell the ticket via Ticketmaster (who Allianz contracts with). All Allianz customer ********************** did was tell me that its not there fault that Ticketmaster and Allianz falsely advertise their coverage and they dont actually cover transportation issues, except for a very specific few. Be warned that if you go through this company, you will not be able to use their coverage or policies to get your money back or the money that you paid for the policy in the first place. Extremely disappointing overall experience that felt like a scam. I have a feeling they will just reply to this complaint all positive but the only thing that will make this RIGHT is if they honored the policies they do falsely advertise. It is in my opinion that this company should be avoided or approached with great caution if deciding to use their services.
