4/22/2016 According to Capital One, I was more than 30/days past due for my September 25, 2015 payment. Ironically, my September payment was posted on September 25th. Their due date. Payment confirmation number, **********. They still reported me as being over 30 days late. On November 4, 2015, I was told that a negative charge would be removed from my account and not have it reported to the credit bureaus. Yet when I received my annual credit report, the delinquent payment was assessed to my credit score. Instead of disputing the charges with each of the credit bureaus, I called Capital One. I filed a dispute, case# ***********. I just received notice Capital One has resolved the dispute. They are not removing the delinquent charge because the information is correct. They also informed the major credit reporting agencies, to place a disagreement code with a resolution of dispute in my credit file. Although Capital One hires these reps, apparently they can not be held accountable when their employees lie. He is still gainfully employed with the company. AS SOON AS THEY MODIFY THE CONTRACT TERMS MY CARD WILL BE CANCELLED! WORST CREDIT CARD ON THE MARKET! STAY FAR AWAY!

4/20/2016 First off I would like to state this; it looks like I already have a review. However I did not submit one. One of my friends has admitted last night to submitting one for me. I marked this review as "NEGATIVE" in hopes Capital one would see it. Yes I have had a few negative experiences, but they have all always been resolved; I guess my friend had stated I have had MULTIPLE bad experiences, please note, she is a a bit of an exaggerator, she told me what she posted. Here is the real info for me; 1) yes I have had maybe 2-3 times when my payment didnt go through... HOWEVER in calling, maybe I overrreacted myself, however I always get the payment through, AND! Capital one has been okay with it. And twice has wiped out my late fee. 2) I had ONE customer service rep tell me that I could not change my name- then one tell me that I have to do things that I am not comfortable with (sending a copy of my SSN card and drivers license through the mail), one state that I would receive a "Secured email link" to change it. At that point I had not (but that was my fault- I had not yet changed my email address). 3) Yes had "my" other review been read by any one- Yes I am Trans, Yes I have had maybe.... ONE person refuse to call me ma'am, or Miss Baker as per my request. Most correct themselves, yes I do get anxious sometimes... but that's the life of a gender dysphoric for you. 4) In resolving this matter- Capital One has been cooperative. Not only the late payments (Like I said- they wipe the late fee, THEY ARE WORKING WITH ME TO CHANGE MY NAME! And If someone misgender's me, and makes me uncomfortable, I will take action, I will ask for another rep. It's that simple. Let me make clear, there is no need for a bad review to be given unless every end has been tied up to try to resolve it. THAT PREVIOUS REVIEW UNDER MY NAME WAS NOT ME! My friend has even apologized for submission of it.

My mother opened an account with my assistance. Capital One never disclosed any annual fee. We received the bill and saw annual fee which the rep voiced he could not remove and if we would like him to close account. I replied if hard credit inquiry was going to be removed due to fee not being disclosed? He was rude and said, I believe I answered that question already. I replied no and asked to speak to a supervisor. He passed me through to a supervisor named Renika, very rude rep #VX-R822. She began to read the cancellation agreement... I voiced the previous rep had already read and I would respectfully decline she voiced it didn't matter and she needed to read it. She proceeded to read, soon as I told her I was recording she was like, I didn't consent to being recorded. I replied I didn't consent to having disclosure read. She began attempting to shout over me and hung up. Terrible place! I will follow up to see if their cooperate office does anything about this in the AM. Never had this issue with ********** nor ******** *******!!

3/15/2016 CAPITAL ONE, is taking advantage of the American public. This company provides credit opportunities and then charges outrages monthly finance fees. I have paid close to $600 over 10 months for a balance less than $2000. They charge me $45+ every month just for carrying a balance. This is excessive. Their auto finance company is worse. I financed a car two years ago with Capital One and they don't tell you that you cannot refinance with them within a year, and no other finance company will refinance until a certain amount is paid of your loan, so the consumer is stuck with a HIGH INTEREST rate and there is NOTHING you can do but pay them. No one will re-finance me and I am paying a ridiculous APR. Unbelievable. This company is taking of advantage of consumers with less than perfect credit and they know it. When you call them, they are not helpful at all. They just want your money!! As soon as I get rid of all of my Capital One loans, I will NEVER do business with these people again.
