BBB Announces Businesses with Most Unanswered Complaints

Better Business Bureau serving Eastern North Carolina names the top 11 businesses with the most unanswered complaints during the first six months of 2014. BBB closed 4,523 consumer complaints against businesses in eastern North Carolina during the first half of 2014. Among those complaints, the following businesses account for nearly 17.4 percent of BBB serving Eastern NC’s 529 unanswered complaints:

Adonis Lifestyle, LLC, an online retailer based in Durham, has 17 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Complaints primarily deal with refund issues, including the company being unresponsive towards timely requests for refunds.

Raleigh Geeks, a computer repair store based in Garner, has 12 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. The majority of complaints deal with repair and service issues, including consumers not receiving their repaired goods back within the time frame they were originally promised.

Twongo, LLC, a buying club based in Cary, has 12 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Many complaints deal with the company’s unresponsiveness to requests for refunds. Other complaints deal with customer service issues.

Street Events, LLC (Color Mania 5K & Electric Foam 5K), sports promoters in Cary, has 11 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Most complaints deal with refund issues. In addition, consumers complain that races are being falsely advertised or are being cancelled with little or no notice, and the company is unreachable.

Eagle Roofing and Restoration LLC, roofers in Apex, has 10 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Complaints typically deal with contract issues, as the company is failing to complete agreed upon services in a timely manner, or at all, while retaining upfront payments. The company has also been unresponsive towards customers.

Traffic Talk, an auto accessories retailer based in Sanford, has seven unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Most complaints deal with incorrect products and delivery issues, including consumers not receiving merchandise within the time frame they were originally promised. The company has a pattern of being unresponsive towards customers.

Denny’s Marble and Granite, granite distributors in Zebulon, has six unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Many complaints deal with the company’s failure to honor contracts, as they are collecting deposits from consumers and not completing work. The company has also been unresponsive towards customers.

Albion Global Inc., a computer software services company in Research Triangle Park, has five unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Most complaints deal with customer service issues, including paying customers being unable to contact the company.

Becklee Real Estate, LLC, a property management company in Raleigh, has four unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Clients largely complain that they are not receiving payments on time, or at all, or are receiving only partial payments. Other complaints deal with service issues.

Carolina Allied Health Training, LLC, an employment training company based in Durham, has four unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Some complaints deal with service issues, as customers complain they are not receiving services and products they paid for. Other complaints deal with customer service issues.

Deacon Jones Automotive Group, a car dealership based in Smithfield, has four unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Complaints range from contract and sales practice issues to repair difficulties.
