BBB Announces Businesses with Most Unanswered Complaints in 2013

Better Business Bureau serving Eastern North Carolina names the top 10 businesses with the most unanswered complaints during 2013. BBB closed 8,783 consumer complaints against businesses in eastern North Carolina during 2013. Among those complaints, the following businesses accounted for nearly 11.5 percent of BBB serving Eastern NC’s 1,047 unanswered complaints:

Raleigh Geeks, a computer repair store based in Garner, has 20 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. The majority of complaints deal with repair and service issues, including consumers not receiving their repaired goods back within the time frame they were originally promised. Other complaints concern customer service issues. 

Fitness Connection, a fitness center based in Raleigh, has 19 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Complaints typically deal with contract issues,including consumers having difficulties with cancellations.

Shopper Local, LLC, a coupon service based in Durham, has 15 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Some complaints deal with contract issues, including the business failing to provide services that were paid for. Other complaints concern billing issues. The company has also been unresponsive towards consumers.

Broadlink Wireless, Inc., an Internet service provider in Pinehurst, has 11 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Many complaints deal with service issues, as well as the company being unresponsive towards consumers.

Carolina Farmhouse (DBA Cecil Mack Co.), a furniture manufacturer in Cary, has 10 unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB.Complaints typically deal with delivery issues, including consumers not receiving merchandise within the time frame promised. The company has also been unresponsive towards customers.

Enterprise Leasing Company–Southeast, LLC, an auto leasing company based in Morrisville, has 10 unanswered complaints and a “C+” rating with BBB. Most complaints deal with refund and billing issues.

All Around Sports, LLC, a sporting goods store based in Morrisville, has nine unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Some complaints deal with delivery issues, including consumers not receiving merchandise within the time frame they were originally promised. Other complaints concern consumers who received incorrect products and are unable to obtain a refund.

Crows Nest Trading Co, a mail order store in Wilson, has nine unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Some complaints deal with refund and exchange issues, as consumers are returning their items, but not receiving a refund. The company has also been unresponsive towards consumers.

Uncle Sams Moving Company, LLC, a moving company based in Sanford, has nine unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. Complaints often deal with delivery issues, including customers’ items not being delivered in the promised time frame.

Discount Digital Art (discountdigitalart.com), an art supply store based in Raleigh, has eight unanswered complaints and an “F” rating with BBB. The majority of complaints deal with delivery issues, including consumers not receiving the items they ordered. Other complaints deal with consumers who have not received the personal items they originally sent to the company.
