Curtis Media Group is serving as thepromotional sponsor for the BBB “Secure Your ID” Day event on Saturday, October19, 2013. The local shredding and electronics recycling event will be held from8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Coastal FederalCredit Union(1000 St. Albans Drive in Raleigh) and Executive OfficeSuites of Lafayette Village (8480 Honeycutt Road).
Fivestations, WPTF, Funny 570, Radio96.1, WBZJ and LaLey will be promotingthe event to their listeners. WPTF will also feature a live interview with TobyBarfield, president and CEO, BBB of Eastern North Carolina.

During theevent, local shredding partners PROSHRED®Securityand A Shred Ahead®will provide free, on-site document shredding.Participants are encouraged to bring up to three boxes or bags of sensitivedocuments that have been removed from binders. GEEP will also be on handto provide electronics recycling including computers, tablets, and cell phones,as well as electrical devices like TVs, microwaves and vacuums.
