Unprofessional and cooks. My dad passed away on the 17th and my mom was referred by someone who we assumed was a reliable person, let me start with level of im professionalism, my sister and her husband arrived there before my brother and Ians she said the owner and the staff members were having a water flight outside of the establishment. However when my brother and I arrived, the water fight was over.so we sat for a few minutes until we were called, into the office, once we were called into the office to discuss funeral arrangements with *****, and she introduced us to the owner *****, who happened to be passing by the office we were in with the door wide open and no privacy. The owner came in and was ghetto and very brief with us. One he walked away, ***** resume with our arrangements, she never presented us with a booklet for their fees on how much everything would cost she just basically wrote down the cost and told us the cost of everything.once my family and I talked it over we decided, that was too far for family members to travel to viewed a body, so my mother reached out to another funeral home which may are at war much more professional. So we decided to go with them instead. Once that happened everything went downhill. He is told my mom that she needed to come up with $2700 in order for them to release my dads body to the other funeral home. We asked how they come up with that calls they said they charge $400 per day. I need to remind you we will never shown any fees of what they would charge in situations like this. This was a complete ripoff, with what Higgins was charging us for. ***** claim that they were charging us for storage of my Dads body and embalming a body, importing the body, but these cost were never shown to us. We got the money together and paid these crooks were hold our father body for ransom. My word of advice to anyone dealing in a situation like this get an attorney when you go to these crooked funeral homes. Thanks for robbing
