Better Business Bureau Serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona (BBB) has been named a CareerBuilder® Top Company to Work For in Arizona for the second year in a row. The recognition is a result of employee feedback regarding BBB’s workplace culture and company benefits.
“It is a great honor to join other Arizona companies recognized for this award,” BBB President/CEO Matthew Fehling said. “At BBB, we strive for a culture where employees come first. In fact, the 52 employees working in our Phoenix, Yuma and Yavapai offices are the reason we can proudly celebrate 76 years of service in Arizona. Our staff’s passion and dedication allows our brand and mission to be a relevant part of people’s lives every day.”
Companies were evaluated and selected based on a combination of overall satisfaction scores from an employee engagement survey, and evaluation from an employer questionnaire covering topics related to HR programs, benefits and workplace culture.
BBB employees pride themselves on living the character values expected of businesses. Being ethical, building trust and being accountable allows the workplace culture to thrive and expand into the services provided to the public.
“It’s important for people to realize BBB is much more than just a complaint-handling organization. In fact last year, the public turned to our organization 132 million times for information on businesses provided through our BBB Business Reviews®. Locally, we have over 11,000 BBB Accredited Businesses that uphold our Standards For Trust. Our free BBB Business Reviews, customer reviews, electronic quotes (E-Quotes), as well as timely scam alerts provide a wealth of information to the community,” Fehling added.
