The team was Incompetent and rude. We submitted a request and received no follow up response whatsoever from them. When we reached out 2 weeks later, they claimed to never have received it. We provided the date of submission and then it was "**************** in their inbox. They made no effort to provide status updates or push things along due to the delay from their error. The only responses we ever received were exerts from the contract saying they had 30days. Once the 30days passed we followed up. They had not heard from the committee and made no attempt to follow up the committee. My representative went on a 2 week vacation and did not forward my case to another co-worker during this time period, so I then had to reach out to find someone to manage my request in her absence. Once I reached her manager the manager was ******************, and would no assist my case at all. This all took place at the ************, ** office.Associated Asset Management Response

We are very sorry to learn of this experience. We make every effort to timely address questions and concerns. Often times we are at the mercy of the resident architectural committee for a decision on the submittal, If you would like to discuss this matter further we ask that you reach out to *************************************** at **************************************************************Review from Miroslaw P

The company is to maintain the property at *************************************. When we bought the house we were charged an extra fee because our property backed on to a retention pond. That retention pond is down over 3 feet because the water is used to irrigate the common areas. Grass and weeds are growing where the pond used to be. This is not do to evaporation because no other retention pond in a 5 mile radius of us has the same issues.Associated Asset Management Response

This issue is something that the developer is working on. The homeowners were sent an update regarding this matter. Earlier in the season we identified that the well pump was broken. We replaced the well pump only to find out the well had dried up. Pulte is working with their vendors to turn this area from well water to potable water. Until this happens both Pulte and the *** will be keeping a close eye on the irrigation and pond level and plan on adjusting the irrigation as needed. This matter is being addressed by the developer.Review from Kurtis O

This company oversees our neighborhood in ***********. The company takes more than 30 days to process simple requests, requests that have been submitted by 50+ individuals in the neighborhood. They do not respond to emails or calls. They have selective practices. Nothing we can do since their relationship with the builder is contractual, however, be prepared to get subpar service with no consistent answers.Associated Asset Management Response

We are so sorry to hear of this experience. We have reached out directly to ****************** to resolve the issue with his architectural submittal and will be ensuring he receives a positive response. For future issues we would encourage contact with the local office requesting contact information for the Regional Vice President should we fail to respond timely in the future.Review from Ian K

This *** company is terrible. We moved into a new build community in September of 2021. We have gates to enter our community but they were always open until construction was complete on the community. Each month, we were still charged a gate fee. That is extremely unethical. The *** is just banking money on something that cost them nothing for nearly 2 years. On July 17 2023, my wife arrived at our community and the gate was closed. We have received no notices about this. Luckily our neighbor was out and was able to let her in. They told us they received an email 1 month prior to pick up their gate clickers and submit their code. We diligently checked all of our emails - we did not receive anything. Our community ******** page shared similar issues. No email, no letter, etc. Nothing. Neighbor shared the info they received so we submitted to have our code entered. To our surprise, we were told the only way to get our clickers were to drive to Tempe or pay $15 to have them mailed. Tempe is about 45 minutes from our community - so we'd have to take time off of work and drive 90+ minutes to get what should have been given to us already. We already paid for these gate clickers when buying the home. I called *********************** from AAM who was rude and showed zero empathy. They continued to insist we were emailed and the only option is to pick up or pay the fee. They were clearly annoyed that I was asking to waive this fee and sharing that many others are ok with driving to Tempe to pick up. I reiterated that we never received any information and it was clear ***** did not care. Refused to acknowledge that fact or prove that we were actually e-mailed. I sent another e-mail to the community manager and included screenshots of our e-mail history with Associated Asset. Nothing at ***************/picking up clickers. In addition to that, it's 50/50 if you ever get a response from AAM about anything. AWFUL management company. Highly unethical. Absurd fees. Staff doesn't care.Associated Asset Management Response

I live in a **mmunity with AAM as property management and over the last few years our association under their management has gone down hill as well as a few of our board members. I believe in professionalism at all times, I do not turn my cheek and ignore just to get along. When money and safety is involved I can only give this **mpany a 1. Your employees can make or break a business, they get a ??Who is on the side of residents not AAM!. We have board members and AAM staff that when a breach, theft etc occurs do not **ntact the police in a timely manner to help with catching the thieves and safe **mmunity members from loosing money, nor set up safety measures in a way that helps and not hinder the existing problem. Not all are in**mpetent , but a select few are, wrong is wrong no matter how you want to justify it. Own your mistakes and move forward. The so called select few are not the problem, AAM holds their share as well as certain board members. And just because you are friends does not make their wrongs right. Open your eyes and see, get your head out of the sand and **rrect these issues and maybe just maybe we can all move forward. Complaining is not a satisfying objective but turning the other cheek solves nothing. When AAM starts a meeting with " up front I want you to know this **mplaint is ridiculous" let's you know immediately who's side they are on. When a meeting has been set to last 1 1/2 hours and gets shortened to 1 hour and you have to rush to make a point, is also a telling sign that AAM is not there to protect the homeowners but themselves and the board. Why do we pay an HOA if they do not follow proto**l? Why give money to a management **mpany if they do not care about the homeowners!!?? I have better things to do with my time, but again, wrong is wrong and right is right. Good and evil can not ** exist. And that is my thoughts about the matter!!!!Associated Asset Management Response

After surviving many years of terrible customer service from another HOA ********************** company, our community needed a change. In 2020 our HOA Board began looking for a new Management Company. After interviewing several companies, AAM was selected. AAM did an awesome job with this transition. They were available at all hours of the day, including week-ends, to provide valuable support. The health of our community has thrived under AAMs guidance. AAM is extremely knowledgeable in ******* state law requirements and keeps us on track. AAM has provided valuable information from their wealth of resources working with other communities and HOA Attorneys. AAM has provided advice to ** that has saved our community thousands of dollars. We are fortunate to have an AAM On-site Office Manager. Our experienced manager took on the challenge of getting our office organized and digitized. They are not easily intimidated when dealing with difficult residents, emergency situations, or oversite of extensive renovation projects. Our community has been a well-kept secret for many years and we never had to deal with criminal activity. We had no Policies or procedures in place for dealing with these situations. So, once this element came into our community over a year ago, it was handled pretty clumsily. None of this is a reflection on AAM. AAM does not provide security services. The Board acknowledged the criminal issue could have been dealt with better. Since this time, additional Safety measures have been put in place. New Safety protocols have been created and are now being followed. However, it is unfortunate that a few residents insist on only focusing on the negative past and refuse to see the positive progress the community has made. AAM has helped the community work through these issues and has provided assistance with creating a path forward. Our community just needs to heal from this bad experience and move on.Associated Asset Management Response
