I really wish we would have done more research on Shasta Pools. Once things started going bad I looked on BBB and yelp and it was not good. Dont try calling the office because no one answers their phone. The excavation was delayed I was told I needed to have our gas meter removed on Friday so they can start work on Monday. That would be three days with no hot water or the ability to cook. They they did show up on Tuesday, just walked into my back yard no introduction but was told they would probably destroy the pavers on our new driveway and I told them no they are not but they just laughed and said they dont have to fix it. I never gave them permission to start but they did it anyway. They messed up our driveway, broke the gate, crushed an irrigation box, took a chunk out of our wall and severed the *** cable line. Plugged all their coolers phones in our outdoor outlets without asking. We went over our contract we signed with Shasta and they can damaged anything they want and dont have to fix a thing. Please avoid the $65,000 stress and headache and Do Not Hire Shasta Pools. They have the worst customer ********************** we have ever experienced. They may be worse than the California DMV.

My husband and I contracted with Shasta to do a refurbishment of our existing ********** home pool and deck. Prior to signing the contract, we were told that the project would be started in late Sept or early October, 2022 and that it would take 6-7 weeks. The project was started on November 17th, 6 weeks late, and was finally completed in May, 2023, 6 months late! Most of the delays were caused by shoddy work that had to be redone: ******** wasn't even hooked up to the heater! -Only 4 of *************************** the drain cover, a safety hazard, so that the pool had to be drained again and refilled.-The deck surface was not applied and cured properly and as a result had discoloration so that some areas had to be redone.-Large globs of deck material were splattered on a table and the walls.-There were large gouges to our home stucco due to their not being careful with their equipment.-Our landscape lighting was not functional when they were done. It was like pulling teeth to get Shasta back out to fix these issues. ******** and ******, our contacts, were sometimes unresponsive, offered excuses and gave no indication that they were sorry or concerned about the issues and delays. Obviously, the project was not overseen properly, nor did a supervisor check to ensure that all had been done at the completion of the project. We had to be out of town during much of the time and had to bring all of these things to their attention after they initially said they had completed the project. We contracted with Shasta only because they had installed the pool originally. We would NEVER employ them again.

Avoid! In my experience. It was 16 months contract to swim (2 *******) The cost is Premium, and communication is basement (garbage) in my opinion and experience. Skilled employees are great as well as craftmanship however Shasta management communication, coordination and execution is the worst I have ever experienced. Sad generational destruction of a good company, again my opinion and experience. Avoid is my recommendation.

Very frustrating, delayed, experience. Problems galore. Coping redone four times!

The building of the pool was a horrible experience. Now the enjoyment of the pool is becoming more of a disappointment and has me wishing we never got a pool. The salesman made this sound like a dream. More like a total waste of money on a company who could care less about the customer and all about the money. I have called several times and numbers and left several voice messages I have yet to get any service. My pump is now not working. I have a service light that is on. The lights arent working and the in floor cleaner is also not working. The pool is less than a year old. Horrible customer **********************. I am transferred to another number just to leave a voice mail and no call back. I have been told so sorry our service **** is behind. This has been 3 months now of getting no where. They can at least call and acknowledge you! Please find other pool company. I am ready to hire an attorney!

I would give 0, but 1 is the lowest it will go. Worst experience of my life with any company. ********, no scheduling, showing up at anytime they wanted. No communications. Destruction of property, no communication of any sort leading to actual physical harm. No response to anything. I could go on and on, but the point I am making is, whatever type of pool builder they have been in the past, they are nothing but a fly by night company now. It was beyond frustrating the whole project. At one point, they showed up without communication, dug a trench, never covered it or communicated they had done it. While digging the trench they knocked out several circuts on my main electrical panel. When I went out to check my electrical panel it was dark and I fell in the trench they dug. This was a new developement so when I came too there was no one around I could yell to help me. I had no cell phone service in this area and had to crawl to my truck and drive to an ER. I cannot stress enough how bad this company is. DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR POOL NEEDS. Our pool is now completed. No one came out to show us how the system worked. We are having several issues and have been waiting a week for a call back. If I could go back, this company would ************* as much a lightbulb for me. YOU WILL REGRET USING THEIR SERVICES FOR YOUR POOL NEEDS. Look at other reviews, and you will understand how bad this company is. 4 other pools in this developement built or in the process of being built and everyone of them I have talked with wish they had never heard of Shasta Pools. Whatever credibility this company had is no longer true. If you do business with **** company you will come to regret it at some point.
