Indigo Painting, ************* hired in 2021 for 3 days & again in 2022 for a 3-4 day ceiling retexturing and painting. Intent was a total refinish of ceilings that had been patched and stained due to a leaky roof that was now fixed. All ************** provided at start of work. First phase, 2021; the master bedrm, master bath and hallway. Because of a statement that I would rely on ***** professional decisions to complete the work correctly the ceiling was not primed. in finding the ceiling chalky, I inquired other paint professionals, *************************** **** ******************************* **** a paint store owner and a locally known and trusted painter, everyone was in agreement that to cover stains and keep them from bleeding through, the ceiling had to be primed. After a discussion with ***, and to his credit, he stepped up and repainted the ceiling. I was impressed with a show of such integrity from him. Unfortunately, this integrity didn't last. This March the remainder of the house was completed. This time, the addition of caulking wall/ceiling corners was added. Differently from 2021, a taped-edged-plastic was applied to the walls about an 1" from the ceiling. I was told it was to keep the wall clean. It didn't make sense to me, but ok. Well, once removed this tape showed a paint line; the paint was painted down to the edge of the tape. I was told this wasn't anything. I didn't see the depth of this problem until later that next weekend when I was prepping the walls in order to repaint them. This paint LINE on the walls is seen and FELT. The walls are textured so this line cannot be sanded off. The following Monday, I explained this to *** and he stated he would come out that Friday to look at it. He was a NO-SHOW. I called. No answer. I texted. No answer. I write in hope of letting the public know what low integrity this company, person, has. Not recommended! Mistakes are part of Lifes' journey.
