On 4/25/22 we purchased & paid in full $1,350 to Gutter Guys/BoonDockers for a 12V320AH battery, Inv. #****. *******************, the owner, built it, installed & tested the battery for our RV while my *********** were there watching, while on vacation in **********, **. We were told by **** It was covered by a 10 year warranty.In Feb. 2023 it was discovered by our local RV Service shop in ****, ** where we reside that we were having issues and the battery was not working properly. Upon approval of ******************* we removed & shipped the battery by ****** for $ll2.84 to him for repairs under warranty.After several contacts with ******************* he stated that a wire became loose and damaged the battery and said it was not covered under warranty, even though he had built & installed it, he claims we damaged it. He also said it was not installed properly and was now leaking and could not be shipped back to us. He also said he would keep one of the parts to cover the time he spent estimating the necessary repairs.The only solution he offered was an estimate for a new battery of $1,400.00 - no offer of discounting, even though as I said he built, installed & tested the system less than 1 year ago, but will not offer any assistance. We now have to purchase a new RV battery completely out of pocket for $1,200. We feel the public has a right to read our review of our experience.

I am sorry for your dismay but the battery you returned was severely damaged. It was revealed to me by your RV repair shop that it had come loose. By the amount of dirt, it is obvious that you had traveled down a bumpy dirt road and the battery was dislodged and tossed about. I had placed the battery in the same place as the old one and used the existing strap to tie it down. The responsibility for checking your gear, including the battery is yours, especially when traveling down bumpy roads. The warranty does not apply in this case. I sell the new batteries in a battery box for $1500 and had offered it to you for $1400.
