In July of 2022, we were looking to remodel our kitchen. I researched the pros and cons of new cabinets and cabinet refacing. Since the pandemic new cabinets were too pricey, so I went with refacing. I checked out several companies and Kitchen Tune-up I was told, we specialize in quick and affordable kitchen updates. I requested a consultation to sit down with my husband and me to see if it was something we wanted. After speaking with their representative, *****, we chose to go with them. She and the office manager followed up on July 11, 2022, measuring the existing cabinets, to be precise.Little did we know it was going to be a lengthy process. We went with them not only because of their slogan but, we were assured our cabinets would be installed no later than the third week of October, in time for the holidays. With October already gone, they would call with a tentative start date every week. They would contact me with weekly updates every other month, then nothing.Finally, in the second week of December, the installer was here. He cut, trimmed, adjusted, and installed my kitchen cabinet refacing. He worked tirelessly and well into the evening. Then, it was a problem with the doors underneath the sink; they were too large for the opening. With this delay, I was told someone would come out to inspect his work and touch up and repair anything that needed fixing. To date, Im still waiting for the repairs, like door handles that fell off, one of the cabinet doors fell off, and the bottom trim underneath cabinets lose or fell off. Also, when the original frame was removed, it was attached to a tile backsplash. When removed, it left a noticeable gash in the backsplash.
