My old apartment complex, *********************, that I lived in from 2015-2018 uses this law office to collect their debts. ********************* (I will submit a separate claim for them) fraudulently submitted a claim saying they evicted me when I had notified the office manager 3 months prior to my move out date. My lease was up and I was on a month to month lease. April 2018 rent was paid. I moved out April 27th, 2018. The office had my letter that I was leaving, and I spoke w/ the office manager to confirm. 4 years later I receive an email from my HR **** saying that my wages were going to be garnished to pay a $3,000 fee to cullimore and coleman on behalf of *********************. Never once was I informed of the so called "eviction" they placed on my door on 5/4/18 (when they knew I had already moved out), or that I had a balance, or a court date for that matter for me to even show proof and defend myself. Four years later (January of 2022), I find out again, not from ********************* or cullimore, but from my HR ****. When I called to find out more information, a nasty woman names, *****, told me there was nothing I can do and provided me with NO information on how it was legal for them to take this to court without my knowledge and when did they "send me notification" on it. She had no answers. All they cared about was money. The only person in the office who helped me and explained anything was *******. I had to take out a personal loan to pay the loan off so that way they would stop garnishing my wages. I am a single mother with two kids, I cannot afford any of this. They continued to garnish my wages after I paid them. The day the judge signed the stop garnishment form, cullimore mailed me a letter saying I owed them another fee for $267 dollars. NEVER once was this mentioned. When I said I cannot pay it right now they tried to keep my check for the overcompensation they took from me saying it could be applied to the now random fee that popped up. DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!
