    On Oct 20th my 18yr old son dropped off his car at Otto’s Subaru to have the horn fixed and car safetied. Next day, when picking up the car they told him they did neither, and then he discovered his car would not start. They looked and tried to boost it to no avail. He was told it was his problem and to tow it. My son phoned me very upset. On arrival I went to the cust svc rep (**** ********* asked to speak to the svc mgr and without saying a word, he angrily pointed toward her office. The mgr ***** ********** saw me from far and turned her back. I knocked on her door and told her my son’s car was in working condition when it was dropped off. She laughed and said “working condition? Yeah, right!” She asked **** (who didn’t want to give me his last name) to come to her office. He stood with arms crossed looking down at me. She kept repeating it was owners’ responsibility. I repeatedly asked to have the car fixed to the state it was at drop off and was repeatedly dismissed. It left me no choice but to ask to speak to her supervisor; I was refused and told to leave. **** stood in my way as I walked out of the office heading towards the sales dpt to look for the boss. Once I approached the sales mgr, **** jumped in between him and I, escalating by intimidation. They kept threatening to call the police because I would not accept them taking advantage of my son.I was treated like a criminal when it was them who were ***********$204 for a horn that was not fixed and a $288 tow bill, because the car wouldn’t start after they worked on it, and my name on the police system that I caused a disturbance and was trespassed. ***** *** **** **** *** ************* ********** and **** treated me dismissively and disrespectfully from the minute I arrived.I hope BBB will see the foul play in paying for a vehicle in worst condition than when dropped off; this is not basic cust service in Canada.Query social media to see many other complaints.

    Long story short. I took my perfectly working car to get preventive maintenance done on the transmission. After paying $550 to get it done, 4 days later the error code for the transmission showed up. Had the car towed back and they tried to charge me $2100 to fix it. They siad they would "not take responsibility" for the work done. They wanted me to change a valve body, solinoid, and wire harness in my transmission. I took it to a transmission specialist and they just changed the solinoid for $900 and it works fine. Do not take your car for service at this shop
