It was given a full and complete safety, but **** **** Hyundai in ******, ON. It is a 2014 Santa Fe, Sport 2.0T. My Santa Fe then collapsed and broke down at 10:30pm, on the 401. This was 5 weeks ago. It was a frightening experience, and I was extremely fortunate that the engine seized near an exit, where I could get off the 401. I towed the vehicle 30km to the Hyundai Dealership. * **** * *** ** ***** * ****** ** * ***** ** ** *** ***** * *** *** **** ** *** ** ****** ** ******* ** * ****** ** **** *************  Belleville Hyundai said they would fix it, and give me a new motor. Newsflash - THERE WAS AN ENGINE RECALL! No one told me about the recall during the safety check at **** **** Hyundai. No one advised myself or the person who sold me the vehicle, that there was a recall - of AN ENGINE! The rental offered had a flat tire. I drove on yet ANOTHER unsafe vehicle. I spent 6 hours on the phone with Belleville Hyundai's car rental partner to get an operational vehicle, during the Thanksgiving weekend. I was forced to drive to the ****** Airport and convince that rental company of the legitimacy of my claim. Finally, After 7 hours on a weekend **** * *** ** ******* *** ** ****** ******** *** *** ***** **** ** * ****** I got an operational rental vehicle. I was then forced to return the vehicle and travel 260km to get my vehicle from Belleville Hyundai. The service centre agent was rude and dismissive.     Beware of purchasing any hyundai without checking all their oil consumption and engine issues or you'll get blamed. Engines under 3 years old needing to be replaced at a $15000 price tag (which is on you even if its a leased under warranty vehicle) . It's disgusting that they have so many issues and they blame the customers. Thanks Belleville Hyundai! Also thank you for taking 3 WEEKS to even look at my vehicle in your shop. But apparently you were so busy fixing all the broken down hyundais engines already. So I'm not surprised. Not a good sign for you guys. Make sure you tell ppl they need an 793 oil change everytime they cross the street because their engine might blow. beware as they have a class action lawsuit against them and their engine and oil consumption issues.
