I have been a patient with Pacific ********** since 2016. I sought services with the Beaverton location about 6 months ago (***********************************************************************). My issue is not in any way with the teaching school aspect of Pacific **********, the vision doctors, or practicing students. My issue is with the front office and optical shop. On 11/4/22, I made a payment of $199.20 to Pacific ********** for prescription lenses. When I went to pick up the glasses, I asked for them to be adjusted slightly. The adjustment was very tight, and after wearing them for a day I realized they would need to be adjusted again because of the discomfort. I went back to Pacific **********, as the glasses never felt comfortable again after this adjustment. Ultimately, I had to purchase new frames as the adjustment made the glasses too uncomfortable to wear. I have never experienced this problem before and have worn glasses for decades. It is rare when staff will answer the phone at the ********* location. I have experiences of leaving messages and staff not returning the call, so I have had to call back repeatedly to reach someone. I called Pacific ********** and asked to speak with an office manger. It was weeks before an office manager returned my call. After I received a call, she said that she would speak to someone about "how they could make this right". She said she would definitely be giving me a callback. It was three weeks later, and I never received a callback. I went back to the optical shop as I could not get ahold of anyone over the phone. I spoke to the office manager again, who said she could not do anything about this because I did not purchase the actual frames through them. I said even so, after an adjustment was made after purchasing lenses, the glasses were ruined and I was unable to comfortably wear them. The office manager was clear that nothing would be done, or attempt to be done. This mistake on their end created months of discomfort for me.
