Complaint: We stayed there October 3rd-October 4th. My daughter ran the Portland Marathon that Sunday. We went bed abou 9 pm. From about 12-4 am, there were 3-4 fights close to our room. There was lots of yelling and profanity. I believe some of the fights were from the same group of people. It was concerning enough that we were all concerned about saftey. We thought the police would show up at some point. That never happened. I was afraid for our safety and was very concerned that gunfire may be involved. We finally were able to sleep about 4 (we had to get up at 5). Checking out, the night clerk mentioned one of the persons went to the hospital for stitches. Asked why the police were not notified, he said "I didn't think it was needed. I doubt that anyone on the second floor got any sleep. I would like to see my daughter get a full refund. I believe it's reasonable for an Inn to provide a reasonable night's sleep and a safe environemt. If that is not possible, as in this case, the police should be called. I emailed the Inn two different times before contacting you. no response. I emailed the Inn after contacting you. They sent an email asking for room number, name and date. I've heard nothing else from them

Desired Settlement: I understand situations happen. This was mostly preventable if the police were called proactively. We paid for a safe good nights sleep. Since that did not happen, a refund seems reasonable.
