Complaint: We recently stayed at the Medford Hotel Inn and Suites and were shocked by the horrible lack of concern for guest safety and for customer service. Our family went down to use the pool and hot tub and were instantly overwhelmed by the amount of pool chemicals in the waters. Our eyes started burning and our son and myself began having trouble breathing when the hot tub jets came on. After rushing back to our room to shower off the chemicals and give our son medications to coat his throat and stomach, we went to speak with the manager who we had just seen an hour before. We were told by the front desk worker that he was out of town. After hearing what had happened, the worker told us that the day before they had a group of kids swimming in there so they had to dump a bunch of chemicals in to clean it and that "pool chemicals can't hurt anyone." She refused to do anything about the problem and then further declined to refund our money for the stay, telling us how great a deal we were getting since the room we had used to rent for much more when the hotel was owned by the previous company. We were dumbfounded by her complete disregard for the serious chemical dangers in her establishment's facilities and her complete lack of customer service. Product_Or_Service: hotel room

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund I would first and foremost like the hotel to correct the chemical levels in both their pool and spa for the safety of their guests. I also think a fair resolution to our terrible experience would be a refund for the two nights we spent there, since the only reason we booked there (there were other hotels that were closer to our destination and cheaper) was because they had a pool for our kids to enjoy. Thank you for addressing this matter.
