    Took my wedding dress to Forest Grove cleaners, to have it cleaned as there were a few small dirt stains on the bottom of the dress as a result of my wedding. This dress is very special to me and I planned keeping it as it was extremely expensive and difficult to obtain. I specifically asked the owner at Forest Grove Cleaners, if they felt like this dress could be cleaned and if they could handle it. The owner was very dismissive of my concern, and insisted that it could be cleaned by them. Upon pickup of my dress, it had been completely stained brown throughout the entirety of the dress and completely discolored. I was devastated to see this, and asked what could be done to fix it, and the owner kept refusing to accept responsibility for ruining my very special wedding dress. The owner was incredibly insensitive to my concern, and kept telling me that it doesnt matter, you already had your wedding and dont need it anymore. Also kept asking me why I care about it so much, when I already had my wedding. My husband and I could not believe the absolute disregard for their customers and customers items. The owner was mocking me and laughed at the price I said I had paid for the dress, just under three thousand dollars. The owner said that if we brought in an invoice, that he would reimburse us for the dress. The owner finally agreed to attempt to fix the dress himself, and assured me that if it could not be fixed, he would reimburse me. Not only was he not able to fix the dress, he then had someone named **** contact me and inform me that they would only pay $500 for it to be attempted to be restored. Upon me pushing back on this, **** began to become very abrasive and dismissive of my feelings. I informed **** that I would only be accepting full reimbursement, like the owner of the store said. **** and the owner have given me a deadline to either accept the $500 by 7/14, or get nothing but the ruined dress. I am a young woman and they are trying to bully me.
